It would be relatively simple to have something on them wouldn't it? Like the bribes the US will have paid already.Trump says he 'asked for a review' (leaned on FIFA).

Yep. He also has evidence that the ref who issued the red card has a questionable record. Impressive knowledge for someone who didn't know what a red card was until that game.Sounds relatively typical.

Shouldn't be possible, I'd like to know more about the body that decided thisTrump says he 'asked for a review' (leaned on FIFA).

UEFA criticizing FIFA ? its like 'Bonnie Blue' lecturing the Mata Hari on the vices of promiscuityYou know it must be ‘questionable’ if even UEFA are unhappy

I thought that would be the key factor in Mexico's favour. They gave it their all to overcome that disadvantage. The Azteca.
Mexico top 10 ranked team.
Home advantage.
Fully acclimatized.
Have not left their home base.
4 straight wins. No goals conceded.
Comparisons: Argentina scraped past Cape Verde (same score line). France scraped past Paraguay.
Last 40 mins - 10 men.
Your assessment is nonsense.

Agree, Trump needs to stay out of it, but he's within his rights to 'try'. FIFA should have told him to F-Off and get the USSF to raise the appeal through the proper channels as should be their right, not the presidents.Shouldn't be possible, I'd like to know more about the body that decided this

Red Cards Suspensions(and yellow card suspensions) have always been part of the jeopardy of Tournament Football, and have only ever added to the drama of the tournament.
I'm kind of in support for suspended sentence for Red cards; afterall, a sending off in that game should be punishment enough - in most cases, but that's where the problem comes. "In most cases" how do you decide what those cases are? but so long as the same rule is applied fairly and without favour.
England
ok, worded badly"Trump needs to stay out of it, but he's within his rights to 'try'".
"get the USSF to raise the appeal through the proper channels as should be their right, not the presidents".
Which is it?

Is there a more odious little runt in football at the moment?Surely everyone is unamimous that this absolutely stinks.
FIFA are responsible for this and should be removed as the governing body of world football.
A Presidential intervention in this matter is totally against the rules and therefore illegitimate.
Infantino has to go with immediate effect. The various football federations should demand it but half of them are also bent.

Ive always been of the opinion that Fifa should never have been given any power beyond organising . The FA should have sole governance of the laws of the game and its consequences .Surely everyone is unamimous that this absolutely stinks.

...and we still get fooled again!"Yes the red card farce with Balogun just highlights the corruption. Many hoped things would change when Blatter went. How's the Who song go "in with the new boss, same as the old boss"
