Respectfully disagree. Salah is a diver. Watch either action in real time and neither Egyptian player is prevented from advancing, they just throw themselves to the floor in the hope of an ultra-soft VAR penalty.Egypt robbed.
If the fantastic Egypt goal is disallowed by bringing the play back the length of the field then the same should apply to Argentine's winner.
Clearly a foul on Salah and then a push by McAllister too.

Perhaps if they had stayed upright and tried to fight for lost possession, the same instinct would have spread to their teammates and they wouldn't have let the goal in.
Plus, whilst I hate VAR and dislike it overturning the Egypt goal, that was at least just a disallowed goal. What Egypt wanted was not just to have the Argie goal ruled out, but also to get a knockout penalty of their own for next to f*** all.
They played very well and I can understand why they are so gutted, but I'm glad they didn't get to win a game that way.
