Will he succeed or not.....it's open to criticism and also support depending upon opinion. There are many consequences flowing from this that few of us can realistically be sure about.....the splitting of the US right on the topic seems a real threat.

Which is why this thread is real example of free speech in my opinion.....because it contains strong points from both perspectives.

It's one of those topics though that contains very little 'meeting in the middle', which with war is usually the case.

Tucker seems to agree that Churchill was the chief villain of WW2, thinks Ukraine are the bad guys and has U-turned on his earlier views on Israel. It appears that he is in the pay of Qatar which is spending millions of dollars in the USA to push their anti Israel narrative. If that's the case, then he has zero principles whatsoever. It's interesting while all the dumbos still think that Israel has so much control in the US, they are ignorant of Qatar's real and very worrying influence.

The Russian revolution saw this post overthrow breaking of alliances as well.

But I have to say that in the Russian example the ideological differences weren't anywhere near as dramatically different as an alliance between communists and Islamists.

Then again, the left are idealogically obsessed with overthrowing the status quo (anything that isn't some leftist pipe dream) and anything connected to the west....and maybe that's what happened....they certainly helped set Persia back massively and saw themselves wiped out.

If the DR come to power it won't have been from overthrowing a government.....least not one that hasn't collasped.

And it certainly won't be making alliances with Islamists.....as the above shows, that's more the playbook of the left.

Well, the MAGA movement started out as an American version of the DR...that first Trump and then.....only because he became successful.....then the GOP cooped.

You had the tea party movement...which was very boiler plate GOP but with Trump that has essentially changed into MAGA.....And Trump himself required the Obama administration to really get popular.

It's become basically small 'n' nationalist both economic and social with Trump's face and takes on it.

At the root, it's what the term implies, the right wing that are unhappy with the mainstream right wing political options usually because it's socially liberal or sold out to corporate globalism.

Like all movements it's not a collection of people who all agree with each other on everything, but it can be characterised as being socially conservative and nationalist....the degree of which depends upon the individual.
