Is the club defrauding loyal supporters?

Was on at 10am sharp in order to buy Fulham tickets. Absolutely pointless (as it was for the Liverpool game). Only restricted view (at full price) and no way of getting several seats together. The Gold Membership is an absolute con and I can't see how I can get any tickets this season apart from cup games. The new Ticketmaster interactive seat booking system is hopeless and far harder to navigate than the old system. I'll be asking the club to refund my Gold Membership as it is utterly useless.

I'm just a season ticket holder (not Gold or plus) but if my fiance wants to go then she normally logs in on the day of a game when people who can't make it cos of illness etc have returned tickets and we managet to get quite a good one in upper tier.

Yes indeed, getting back to the point. Crystal Palace Football Clubs own version of Snake Oil. Selling you something of no discernible value whilst claiming how much of a benefit it will be! What is this product?
Well its Season Ticket Plus Memberships, International Memberships and Gold memberships.

Honestly if you have bought one of these you 100% have been scammed by the club. (Like myself)
 
Loyalty counts for nothing now for parish,I have followed this team up and down the country for 45 years.Cold Wednesdays up North getting back to Euston to get up for work next day,seeing us loose 9-0 at Anfield,putting in some miles.
Now I cannot get 2 tickets together for myself and my son even though I used to be a season tickets for years and have 7000 points.
I have lost the will to love this club anymore, we have sold our soul to the money men.
 
Astonished......£2227 for 2 tickets in the Lower Holmesdale. Really...to see them probably get hammered by Liverpool. Worlds gone barking mad.

Yes, I noticed that too.....something is most defiantly amiss.

However even if you did have prior notice and were logged in to look the second they became availably you would have found very little if anything was available.

If you'd been reading the posts on this subject you would realise that it wouldn't have made any difference as you wouldn't have been able to buy tickets anyway.

The club do say when the tickets will be on sale here for all the good it will do anyone:

 
Just chatting to my mate who is a season ticket holder and has season ticket plus membership. He wanted to get 2 tickets for Fulham for his 2 sons in or around Main Stand H block. He is an IT expert so was there ready to go the second they were supposedly available yesterday morning. Result: Nothing available, not even restricted view.....what a complete and utter waste of time. It appears the situation is currently getting worse.
 
It sounds like there's something amiss. I wouldn't have bothered with paying for my Gold membership if I couldn't even have a sniff at two tickets together for at least one match of the season. I wanted to get 2 for my dad and me to sit together, I'm quite ok with paying the £60 just to have the opportunity to get 2 together (or close together), but yesterday (or whatever day it was) there wasn't even 1 ticket available, not one anywhere, yet the club are still telling people to buy a membership to have a chance of getting a ticket. I know I don't have a right to a ticket, I can't have a season ticket even if I wanted one as I live in Bristol and have a family and can't give up the amount of time a st would take up, but if something else is stealing the tickets that should at least be on offer to golds then that's not on. If all the tickets at 10 o'clock went to Golds then fair enough but it doesn't sound like this is the case ☹️.

The situation last year was pretty bad too compared to previous years. However now its just ridiculous, nothing available, memberships a complete rip off.
 
Think the club should refund these memberships right now. Not doing so would just show the club up for what they have become.....Will let you work out what that is!.....but its not fan, community or family based.
 
Possibly a daft suggestion, but has anyone thought of a complaint to Croydon Trading Standards Office under the "not as described" section, since these memberships seem to imply some priority that is not being given.?

I gotta say your sister has some (I was gonna say Balls) but I dont want to cause offence & you know what I mean - well done her for saying what a lot of us are thinking.

My guess is the club will respond - we acknowledge that there have been some challenges with ticketing outside of normal season ticket purchases, This has largely been caused by the unprecedented upsurge in demand following our extended time in the PL, this is of course why we are pressing ahead with the main stand upgrade which will provide an extra 8000 seats, we appreciate your support & trust that you will understand & work with us through this difficult period.
