Is the club defrauding loyal supporters?

In years gone by Mainstand H Block was used by the club for complimentary tickets for players not playing and / or their family members.
If thats correct then perhaps there are cases of individual club employees supplementing their wages by selling complimentary tickets through online platform(s) which would also to some degree explain why there remains a reluctance to investigate.

Although it dosent explain the instances of others who have had tickets removed from baskets though.

I haven't read the full thread but surely the answer is to report to the club the seats you believe are being misused. It maybe that the club is unaware in which case they will ban the black marketeers. If it is the club they should come clean and explain why.

Yes, I have done this by contacting CPISA with the full details of what I know. They have responded saying they will be taking this up wit the club as a matter of urgency.

Just had a look on livefootballtickets.com. Cant believe it, prices for Liverpool in H Block Main stand ranging from £275 to £499 per ticket, loads available in 2 and 4 together. Season Ticket Plus and Gold Members never get a sniff of these. Its an eye opener, take a look!

This is outrageous, the club must know about this. They claim they want to build up our fanbase! Perhaps this is why the new stand is so desperately needed to sell more to the tourists

Quite simply, every ticket on sale on there should be cancelled.
But won’t be. Perhaps the club is fully aware and don’t mind/care. Last season athe home game with Arsenal, I saw a couple with Arsenal shirts gaining admission to the main stand and nothing was done about it

It would also be good if the club could investigate whether these tickets are 'season tickets' being resold - but not by 'normal' season ticket holders - This has only started happening since Ticketmaster got involved managing ticket sales but they also managed season ticket sales.

After being Gold members for a number of year myself and mrs decided to go for season tickets the last couple of years - last season we were on the waiting list but a fair way down - did get to the top but none available so fair do's - This year we were told we were at the top of the list - logged in within minutes of them going on sale and low and behold - none available together (just like trying to buy match tickets on a gold membership)

As so many tickets are showing up on the resale sites I now wonder if some syndicate / organisation has bulk bought season tickets to resale for every game (don't even know if this is possible to sell season tickets for each game but would be good if those who have the contacts could find out)

BTW I have no idea what mugs would pay over £200 for a ticket to watch a Palace match but until people stop buying them or the club intervenes this will only continue

It's not Palace they're paying 200 for. It's Liverpool/ Man U etc. That makes it even worse in my opinion.
At Liverpool, they stipulate you must have a supporter ID to even get in. They don't always check but do sometimes.
I thought that was the regulation for the whole league these days. If it is so, then we are breaching it.

I've just taken a quick look into this and any unauthorised selling of Premier League tickets is a criminal offence, and can be reported as such. It's a new law since this year.

Not so sure about this. The 8 people I have asked at Man Utd and Leicester matches who have paid between £145 and £200 for a ticket were all Palace supporting.

But then here's a question: If someone was to offer you £500 to use your seat for the upcoming Liverpool match, would you take it?

We at CPISA are on this topic with the club. The 100's of seats you see available on many ticketing resale sites are not all available.
They just promote that they are to tempt customers in.
We believe that a lot of ticketing sites work together and although there are some tickets available it is nowhere near as many as people think.
As for the source of tickets it is not the club or it's employees, nor is it Ticketmaster either.
The club do regular checks for season ticket holders selling tickets and match tickets being used by third parties but this is a complicated area and is still open to abuse.
The club still has work to do in this area and CPISA intends to keep pushing the club to irradicate touting and exploitation of tickets from CPFC altogether.
CPISA have just issued a statement regarding 'Digital Ticketing' which they sent to the club yesterday.

Then how cpisa are tickets not even offered within 1 minute of them going on sale to gold members?
Are these company’s buying 100s of membership and setting bots that hoover them up in first 30 seconds of going on sale.

We suspect it is just down to the numbers involved with the club now selling far more gold memberships than ever.
CPISA want to drill down into the data on how many International, Gold and long term season ticket holders the club has and which category have access to tickets, in which order and how many.
That way we can start to establish how long tickets would last when being placed on sale for a match.
Once again targets should have been put in place by the club over membership sales so everyone still has a fair chance of obtaining match tickets when they are put on sale.

I suspect thinking this is being somewhat naive.....there is no other credible explanation, someone must be involved whether its club, employees, Ticketmaster or a combination of them.

Going back to the original issue, as it stands what is the point of gold memberships and season ticket plus memberships......answer....no point at all.....fans being ripped off by the club....whether they meant to or not

With respect Pierre this doesn’t explain as Paaalaaace and others have said these tickets are sold out by 10.01am which would mean that there are a lot (thousands) of very active members sitting with their alarms clocks?

Also noticed on livefootballtickets.com you dont find out the actual seat numbers on offer untill you have paid your money. Obviously much harder for club to trace exactly what this site is selling......unless of course they already well know!
