Is the club defrauding loyal supporters?

As someone new on this site and a lifelong Palace fan i agree that as a first time Gold Member this season- whats the point ? Its impossible to get two tickets even getting on 2 mins into the window. To be shown they are either sold out or all thats available is one ticket is a joke especially if ,as you say ,Ticketmaster are selling tickets to anyone at inflated prices. This is just not fair to real Palace fans who have stumped up to give themselves a better chance of seeing their team, but with little chance in reality. The club certainly needs to address this.

Would you please pm me with the email you use for Nicola, then I can/will sent her an email as well.

At the game Saturday against Fulham, I had a row of 10 seats behind me empty. How are they not available to purchase on a gold membership?
Then in concourse 10 people from Atlanta who managed to get tickets together, all kitted out in scarfs and bobble hats.
I’ve given up now, just tried for 2 for myself and son for Arsenal, hit a brick wall as no 2 seats together. You can stick your gold membership up your ?.

You are only allowed to buy one ticket with a gold membership for Cat A matches. A new rule!

Why - surely when building for the future the need is to enable people to take their friends.
Thought - Our Club Box Office needs to make a list of areas of unoccupied seats and know what is happening:-
Are they not used for three successive Category B matches?
Are they being used to create packages (different people each game - CCTV can see every seat)?
Would the "owners" notice if they were used for deserving people?
Could season tickets for those seats be cancelled - after B. O. or Club receives non supporter answers?

I took my sister to a match - gave up my Upper Holmesdale seat and got (I think) 41 & 44 in a row of the Whitehorse. After a friendly chat with Mr 42 & Mr 43 on the matchday we were able to sit together. The Box Office did their best, which left us happy, but CPFC needs to ensure that season ticket holders are CPFC people.

Yes, but my son and I are both Gold members so can buy one each on the same order, so long as the tickets are allocated to different membership numbers.

You aren't the first to point out Cat A matches are single ticket only.

Again, this is not the problem. Availability of seats together is the problem. Especially when livefootballtickets.com have multiple listings of 2, 3, 4 or 5 seats together, which have never been available to Gold or Season Ticket + members.

The problem is, no tickets are available a few minutes after the membership time slot opens.

I've just had this reply from the CPFC Customer Service email:

"Thank you for your email.

I'm sorry for any frustration you experienced trying to purchase tickets for our matches this season. Please be aware that we only sell tickets through our official website and authorised partners. We strongly advise against purchasing tickets from unauthorised third-party websites, as these may be resold at inflated prices or may not be valid for entry.

Our Box Office team is aware of the concerns surrounding ticket resales on external sites. At home fixtures this season, numerous tickets have been blocked which we believed to be touted tickets. This process has worked well and is one we will look to continue in forthcoming fixtures. This is an ongoing process and we appreciate your patience in this matter.

Season ticket holders are able to resell their tickets, so tickets should become available as we get closer to each fixture. You can check online or alternatively, contact our box office on 0333 360 1861 and a member of the team can check availability.

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Kind regards"

You wonder if this is sponsors or people connected to the club making a few quid on the quiet.

Best of luck.
While you are on the call can you ask him to share a screen - go on a resellers site and purchase tickets for the Arsenal match - 4 in a row for any area in the ground (Palace should be able to afford it) - then he can track back to the origin of the tickets and see where they originally came from.

If he is against this then they have no intention of sorting this out

I thought something similar, so looked up tickets this morning. There are plenty for sale, though only pairs at most.

If you consider it, they only need the seat numbers and that will be linked to the original buyer/ member/ season ticket holder/ player/ staff/ whoever. Then just cancel all of those tickets for those seats. Apparently, it's their policy anyway. So they can enforce their own rules.
If they wanted to be really hilariously tough about it: leave it, let everyone in. Then send stewards to remove all of those people before kick off/ just after kick off. Destroy the credibility and viability of the resale sites.

At least you got a response, I have had nothing. Did anyone actually put a name to the response you got?

seats in the stands is one thing. Palace hospitality is another - a meal etc. is provided and it is a lot more expensive. Have to hope that CPFC does watch the balance on Hospitality, a certain numbers of gests are needed to make it worthwhile. I can understand Palace being happy to have selling helpers but hope that guests are told that they can book direct for future matches, during the time they are on site.
