He's not involved in any of the deals. So you'd have to ask DF/SP on that one!

It always was a silly fee, I guess we were trying to do a Brighton, but without the data and research
 
Evidently Matheus Franca is currently in Brazil having a medical for a potential move to Vasco de Gama. I thought he was injured and couldn't play for us. Have I missed something?
 
It’s a loan only and no price agreed for a sale. So at this stage expectation is regains form and fitness and returns (🤞as I like him) or we can sell him on with ability to get higher fee than today
 
Whoever signed him had played Football Manager too much and saw he was a wonder kid on those older ones lol

I understand worth taking a chance but not at 26m that was madness and I'm surprised he got a work permit (This is why none of the big clubs went for him)

People claimed this was a Tex deal no way he would not pay that much for him and would have got him to sign for one of the other multi clubs first.
 
Initial fee from what I have read was £17m plus add ons. Unlikely many if any add ons paid out.

For all his injuries he has contributed a lot more than Ahamada. Franca has set up goals and even scored one !!!!

While we clearly overpaid there was talent there. In another timeline he turns into a direct, effective forward contributing goals and assists. Sadly his body appears to be made of dried spaghetti
