Immigration

Well the man doesn't understand what represented democracy is. What a prat, he'll turn Ireland into the Swiss system which runs dozens of referendums for everything, highly inefficient.
McGregor is an awful tw@t. However, on this case he does have a valid point. We have had politicians signing mad unpopular stuff for decades in Ireland.

- the morocco treaty on asylum seekers
- compulsory purchase Orders for housing

- the relationship between the Cops and people protesting in the street
- the bank bailout during the Financial crisis

- US Warplanes at Shannon Airport
- the Lisbon Treaty

- Gender identity politics being introduced into the Schools curriculum.

- aid to the military intervention in Ukraine.
- International Protection & asylum seekers........like the village of Dundrum, Co Tipperary..totally swamped.

When your Parliament goes Rogue, you need to rein them in. In the case of at least one of the points above*, 99% of the population were against it in a Large representative Opinion Poll.

*guess which one, and i might tell you later.

Sure, but surely MacGregor knows what they want and will represent? If he has to ask the people for everything what's the point

He does, then why the need to send everything to the people? Don't you see my point?
because, Politicians need to be reminded who they work for. Especially when said politicians are out of touch or launching an unpopular Crusade. And Irelands politicians got absolutely thumped on the woke-ism below.

And they know bloody well that Immigration is an issue they are afraid to allow to a vote on. Ireland, UK, Western Europe......most places.

My point is that the immigration issue has gone far far beyond concern of whether the system has a Swiss system or not.

If the internationalists remain in power these isles are lost.

Of course, people can debate the meaning of the term 'Lost'. I would argue that it has already happened.
Demographics are destiny. For example : If a statistician took a random sample of additions and subractions to the population. Departures via the Funeral home. New arrivals statistically via a maternity Ward or an airport.

The Future doesn't look (or sound) very much like the crowds celebrating VE day, now does it ?

100%
We must oust the enemy before we debate about policy.

Why doesn't the Archbishop of Canterbury, as leader of the church, the biggest land owner in the UK, open all the Churches up to all the poor asylum seekers, i think we know why, but he wont say it or do it.
he could ask his boss. King Charles.

Well, we have never before seen a King Charles who was theologically out of step with his flock. But then again, which flock ? The traditional flock or any new flock to the 'Parish'.

Immigration. Lefties love to talk about assimilation and acclimatizing newcomers to 'British Culture'. And just how well did White Europeans assimilate to the culture of the Apache, the Cherokee and the Navajo ?
