You blame Blair/Brown and I've often blame Blair (you are right to include Brown) for being the 'dark lord' who started all this.....Well, in truth put it into steroids.
But recently my mind has been somewhat broadened on this contention on how badly our politicans have been for Britain....that that it's untrue but that there are quite a few PMs that were even worse than Blair in the destruction of what these Isles were.
Our decline has been documented....there are goalposts and people responsible.
Here is an AA video on just this topic.....I initially bulked at the title but when I listened to it I agreed with most of what he said.....though I disagree with him that Thatcher (or the Queen) were worse than Blair (though she was proud of him) and I agree with him on the impotence and tacid agreement that the Queen had for what went on.

Probably taxes related to house ownership and renting.
Even if they do this extremely unpopular move it only holds the wolf from the door......30 year interest bonds are at over 5 percent....similar with 10 year.
The markets are losing confidence in our ability to pay back and thus borrowing is getting more expensive.

Nobody will move. No property improvements and spending on that apart from those with lofts. So maybe a few en suite purchases.
But it’s okay, 1.5 million homes built in 5 years. Currently 38% down on year one, which probably means no increase and maybe a decrease. All going well.
