Many gay people are scared to speak out partly because of the huge abuse they will get from their own side and partly because they are aware of of the sacrifices of the previous generations, guilt if you like.

I know gay people who think that pride marches and let's celebrate every time someone comes out has had it's day.

We will actually achieve equality when gay people are no longer considered a mono block by the media and politicians. It's starting to happen with many gays now distancing themselves from Stonewall as they don't like the direction it's going in.

However it's going to take the same courage that allowed people to speak out in the sixties and seventies to speak out now and tell the left wing activists you don't speak for all gay people.

We shall see.

I agree with this but I don’t see it happening anytime soon and probably not in my lifetime. The prejudices in society are too deeply ingrained for that. Despite my own attitudes changing greatly during my lifetime there are occasions when I feel uncomfortable with some behaviour and feel things have been pushed too far. So if the gay community are themselves recognising that it has to be a good thing.

I think your kind of post is written because of the bad faith responses you get to criticism of the way our establishment has flipped on alphabet culture. They have instituted laws and regimes all which ensure societal destruction but....oh won't you think of the gays.....when you dare criticise the obvious consequences of killing the birth rate.

There are conservative gays who make all the same criticisms of what our establishment has done. Both David Starkey and Douglas Murray are fully against the madness of moving from an acceptance to a promotion and a 'celebration'.....In other words an encouragement that women do not reproduce. The idea that child birth is strictly a lifestyle choice.

A misunderstanding on your part. There's a difference between accepting and agreeing, and I disrespected people that made personal comments rather than addressed the points under discussion, and the BBS is excellent for having rabid pack hounds who only focus on that these days and I don't miss it. If you were to respond/reply in a reasonable way and you'll get a reasonable answer. The MotD thread was a perfect example, I was sarcastic about their predictable appointment of a new team and stated that I didn't like any commentators, I prefer nobody (like on Amazon Stadium FX), but was called an incel, cuck, c***, wanker and all sorts - massive list of attacks over several pages including from those I had on ignore - just for that.

Who are they trying to get banned now? Southgate I expect.

Whilst it clearly isn't, what could be true is that it seems very unlikely that any Palace fan with fascist attributes would find too much comfort on the BBS. They would be much more likely to wash up on another major supporters site, especially one that is dominated by those with right-leaning opinions.

So I have never had an issue with anyone coming out and I know a few. Not many as less than 10% of the uk are gay whether MorF. The point is some are looking for the rare individual who won’t hold back and as 2TK does; label everyone as anti this or far that. You have a horse in the alphabet race and if they have had problems you have fallen into the mindset that everyone thinks like that. Admittedly if you want to pay dollar and go 100% full on operations I will go with it and accept a different gender. If you want to shave and stick a dress on and be called Lydia then you can f*** off as it’s all hot air and piss for effect!

It was you who mentioned the reputation this site has for harbouring fascists. That you disagree with that assertion doesn’t mean the assertion doesn’t exist. I don’t use the BBS so cannot express any opinion.

My own view is that the majority of the posters in this section have conservative views, some centre right, some hard right and some extremely hard right. Whether you categorise the latter as “fascist” will always be a matter of opinion. They, of course, deny the epithet because of its historical associations. Others think it’s valid.
