The Politics of 'Climate-change'

The responsible ones are trying. Those who care enough about others. Others aren’t. Those who care only about themselves.

It’s why we need worldwide organisations who command the respect of enough to be able to sanction those who refuse to accept their role.

All the time economic pressure to deliver short term fixes sufficient to satisfy the expectations of the greedy is the overriding element in political decision making we are not going to do enough.
And what are we supposed to do about it?

Support those arguing for this to be taken seriously and be at the top of the political agenda.

I want it taken out of the political melee and for all parties to join together in a common effort. It’s what we do in war time and this is every bit as important.
That's OK. Carry on with that.

Hopeless!

There comes a point when the peer reviewed evidence is so overwhelming that theory becomes fact. Man made climate change passed that point decades ago.

Who cares? I do and so do billions of others. Billions of unborn people need us to stop being selfish and think of them.
It's the poor folk that suffers but hey that's fine as long as we save the planet

The data is made up this is a fact go and learn some science you don't have a scooby. (I remember you was the same person who claimed the covid data as legit which used the same made up epidemiology models)

I am old and even when i was at school they was claiming in decade time ice caps would have completely melted and the ozone hole would be the size of north America.

50+ years have passed lies.

Who cares about us we will destroy ourselves anyway because of multi other reasons.
I well remember, its just another money grab

This is what the money men think of Climate Change

Oil giant BP has said it will "fundamentally reset" its strategy as profits dropped sharply last year.

It is widely expected to say later this month that it will scale back renewable projects and increase oil and gas production following similar moves from rivals including Shell and Equinor.

That’s what happens when governments fail to provide enough incentives and/or regulations.

The “poor folk” aren’t suffering at all. They have life and liberty. If they fail to heed the warnings then their offspring’s offspring will really suffer.
What a load of bull. Suddenly life and liberty trump being poor and depressed because they have nothing.
Is it mass suicide that hmg want which will reduce co2 emissions unless they are cremated of course 😂

If you fart - you're as guilty as anyone 😁
I can only throw myself on the mercy of Gaia. Had I only known of the irreparable damage being caused I'd have at least sneaked a few out instead of indulging in the lavish leg raised pelters I've let fly over the years.
Sorry, planet.
