A loan is a good option if it is to cover midfield or defence where we have injuries. We will need to probably do a bit of a rebuild in defence in the summer if and when Guehi leaves. Of course it is easy to say ‘let’s get a loan in’ but much harder to do.

If we get Diago Tjalo, we will be OK as long as he stays fit.
 
We often seem to see a curveball at the last minute where the club seem to try and squeeze a deal through that no one saw coming. Last window it was Chalobah, the window before I seem to remember we made a late move for Cornet. If Glasner is correct and we get one more through the door then I'm curious as to who that will be as nothing seems very concrete at the moment. I think we might get another two deals though, especially with the loan spot being freed up.

I made the mistake at looking at YouTube clips of Tjalo ( let's face it - these clips never show the bad bits).
He looks quick and powerful and reminiscent in style of Konate at Liverpool.

If we do get another centre back in, I hope he can stay fit.
We were fortunate in recent seasons with Anderson and Guehi who had very good fitness records other than Guehi missing for a period at the end of last season.

I suspect Riad will miss most of next season too and with Guehi potentially off in the summer, it makes sense to bed in a new centre back now.

IF, we are actually in for him, IF, Juve can cancel the loan at Porto, IF, he wants to come to us(think it'll be a loan only) & IF, we can afford it. Porto play Monday evening(20.45 GMT), be interesting to see if he's in the squad.

It sounds like I wasted my time looking at the clips with all those hurdles
 
Can't really say one way or the other if Riad is the future CB for us, no data to make that kind if determination. Will say though that he he has been built up to have some very good promise so we will see. Don't know much about the dude at Juve but if you play a lot for Porto and play some in Europe also, have to have something about yourself.

I think we will get at least one in, be tighter than a nun's.... to get two in though imo.
 
It will be same old SP excuses.

amateur run club. (this is why we wont ever advance and our current manager will walk)

Manager has been very clear and constant messing about for a whole month they did the same in the summer.

Pay the fees sick of them playing games a few million is nothing in this market.

It puzzles me why we dont do any loans from EU some very good players who play in dutch leagues.

Expect a bargain basement player to come in (maybe another panic buy paying way over the odds) or a loan which wont even have a future fee.
