The January 2025 Window

Last I heard is Zaha is flying in to Charlotte to complete the contract and medical. One of my favorite Palace players ever signing for my MLS club(And one I have a season ticket too) is fantastic! I think Dean Smith can really help him resurrect his career.

As for Palace, we do need to strengthen but that is easier said than done in a January window. Attacking wise for sure. We shall see.

As one of my students here in NC would say, ' No cap' haha.

Welcome to hol.
So do palace have many fans in your manor or around the USA generally. It’s good to hear from far away fans 👍

Appreciate it!

And lot more fans over here than I think people might realize haha. Having the preseason games over here helped even more I believe.

So for the lwb position, Diouf seem to be the preferred option with Truffert next in line according to Alan Nixon.

Whereas I do think we need competition and cover for that position, surely the same can be said for the rwb? No need for to keep Munoz on his toes as he’ll never slack off, but he needs cover. If he gets injured we’re not in too good a place.

I would love to see Ebiowei taking this opportunity to try to claim some wingback position as he’ll probably otherwise end up being released, although I don’t see him being interested in putting in that defensive shift.

With that said I believe we should go for Maxim De Cuyper as he’s able to cover both wingback positions. We’ll then have competition and cover on both wings without having too many natural wingbacks on our books

De Cuyper is a brilliant shout. He's brilliant at set pieces too, which is great considering our set pieces are good now all of a sudden

I'm glad we finally got Esse, I knew about him beginning of October, can't go into too much but my boy plays in a football team and his team mates dad is a coach at Millwall.

Freedman watching him since beginning of August. He has the potential to be huge for us apparently playing with better players and getting up to their level will bring about massive improvement.

Let's hoping for Hadji Diuof now, I think he'll be next.

What more do you have that can't be shared.???
Sounds like you already spilled the beans

Yes, very good shout, has a better record in the JPL, and we know how Munoz has turned out

Would love Cherki think he's going to be a real star, going very cheap too, very unlikely now we have Esse. Very much in the mould of Hazard, Payet. 21 years old valued at £30 million already but available for a reported £19 million.

Would give us unreal depth up front and he would be a really good investment with his value only going up.

Rumoured to have attitude issues so, if that is the case, unlikely Freedman will go for him even at £19m.

Half way through window - which ends on 3rd February. Have got Esse, and a free loan space. Hoping for good news. Has anyone heard who is almost an Eagle (or potential (on loan)?
