The BBC ?Your first mistake was turning on the 6 o clock news
The TV news would be more objective, informative, and balanced in Saudi Arabia, North Korea or Syria.

It's slightly less propaganda than RTE, you have to give it that. So one up for the Beeb.Yes the BBC six o clock news or any misinformation news broadcast the BBC generally do.
So, you're absolutely certain that the pictures you watched were definitely happened in Springfield? It can seem as sketchy as you like. It was posted on here for a start. I don't blindly accept anything. It doesn't suit any particular agenda of mine as such. I'm not going to trawl the internet looking for videos to suit anyone. I don't even want to see them again. I'm not even on Twitter or any social media - yet I've still seen the videos. I'm not going to disbelieve something I saw with my own eyes. The videos I saw were real. I wish I could unwatch them somehow. Frankly, I don't even advise looking for them as you could easily feel sick. If you like animals definitely don't watch them.
There are plenty of cultures that eat what we see as pets or as working animals etc. It's really not that hard to believe when you see it. Trump was likely exaggerating somewhat, it's what he's like. But I presume he saw the videos too - as I said, much like everyone else. It's pretty hard to then convince people otherwise when they've seen it. It's the kind of thing described as gaslighting.
More like, instead of my agenda, is it that hard to think that it's "debunked" (however that was supposed to be true - I saw the reports) due to an agenda? Like not wanting to stir racial tensions, for example?
It's the same argument with no less validity.
No fan of Lineker, Mark Chapman is better on MoTD2 in my opinion, but who would the BBC replace him with erm..... Hopefully not Alex Scott who seems to be the BBCs go to presenter. Mind you I rarely watch it any more only when we win so once every 6 weeks or so 😀Rumours circulating that Gary Linekers contract will not be renewed.
Supposedly Jermaine Jenas was all set to take over until he shot himself in the foot. The BBC has to decide whether to stick with Lineker who can't keep his mouth shut about non footballing matters or go with some one else.
It's not actually a hard choice Lineker is not the personality he and the BBC think he is. Anyone can present MOTD I have never heard anyone say did you watch the Gary Lineker show last night? The strength of the show is down to the football which has nothing to do with Gary or the BBC. As long as the PL is the top league they will get viewers.
As for Mr Personality he had tried to branch out to other areas with limited success, he had a quiz show which didn't trouble the ratings and has tried various other things. If he does go he will turn up on SKY or TNT doing a similar job.
My advice to the Beeb is get rid, he is more trouble than he is worth and no one should be bigger than the team.
Agree Mark Chapman, Alex " two box " Scott would be DEI bridge too far, mind you, I usually watch a recording on Sunday morning here and FF thru all the pundit rubbish, just games and managers so I don't care too muchNo fan of Lineker, Mark Chapman is better on MoTD2 in my opinion, but who would the BBC replace him with erm..... Irrelevant. We're talking about Springfield.I have certainly seen seen pics and video of Haitians killing and cooking cats, whether in Springfield or not it's part of their " culture ". Best to be first one to start a voodoo doll shop there.
What's the Simpsons done now?Irrelevant. We're talking about Springfield.
‘Live and Let Die’ I say.I have certainly seen seen pics and video of Haitians killing and cooking cats, whether in Springfield or not it's part of their " culture ". Best to be first one to start a voodoo doll shop there.
Dan walker would be good. Listen to him on classic and knows his footy. Seems like a nice guy. Doing a charity bike ride atm as well as classic fm mornings.Rumours circulating that Gary Linekers contract will not be renewed.

He left the bbc a couple of years ago because allegedly he wanted the motd gig or similar & they said no, same as he wanted better when on their breakfast show.Dan walker would be good. Listen to him on classic and knows his footy. Seems like a nice guy. Doing a charity bike ride atm as well as classic fm mornings.
Someone start a petition for him as I don’t know how 😀
It obviously is going to be Gabby Logan 🙄Dan walker would be good. Listen to him on classic and knows his footy. Seems like a nice guy. Doing a charity bike ride atm as well as classic fm mornings.

Hamas are a proscribed terrorist organisation as per the government. I guess the BBC didn't feel the need to mention that.Kuenssberg: ‘’Hamas, who many would say are would say are a terrorist group.’’
No, they are a terrorist group. This is the BBC appeasing and agreeing with protestors who shout ‘’freedom fighters.’’
Strange how whenever they have regularly dumped female presenters/newsreaders/broadcasters at 45 y.o. or less, on the grounds that their position needs a fresher approach/newer look/ younger people appeal, no-body bothered shouting about 'loyalty' then.Various comments in the media about how badly the BBC is treating Lineker "He doesn't deserve this" "loyalty" etc.
None of these stories though mention that Lineker is not an employee of the BBC as he and they have mentioned many times which is how he can maximise his tax returns. So as he is a contractor and provides a service to the BBC why should they show him any loyalty.
It does look like his reign is coming to an end. Some may say this is unfair and it's politics within the BBC but MOTD since it's inception has refreshed it's presenters and pundits. A good section of MOTD viewers will only know Lineker for his crisp adverts and not his playing days.
It probably is about time they brought in a younger presenter even if Lineker wasn't always gobbing off about non footballing matters.
