Summer Transfers 2025 (rumours and incomings)

I'll put it this way. He scored in Athletico Madrid's last game. And has been consistent for years now. Played in the Champions League latter stages, internationally (obviously) and one of La Liga's best strikers. Not even an exaggeration. I know, it seems weird. I often just forget about him.
Then there's a worrying pattern emerging - we make good players crap.

Pino (grigio), Elliott, The Man City CD and a RB, would be good for Me

No. The simple matter was that Hodgson never gave him a proper chance or a system that would play to his strengths. At least we got our money back when we did eventually sell him.
Well exactly. We made him temporarily crap. I guess I should clarify that by this I mean we made him "appear" crap, that was the error in my wording but it's what I meant.

Even for Palace this has been a strange window.
Diomande and Guessand supposedly our main targets and with deals largely in place.
Diomande gets injured and Guessand goes to Villa.
Then it goes quiet with seemingly nothing happening and our squad looking thinner by the day.
Eze goes, Franca goes....and still nothing concrete about incomings aside from the will he/won't he on El.Khannouss.

Then , in the last day or two, we're supposed to be buying the world and his brother.

Pino looks most likely and I could see us buying/loaning a defender and another forward.

I think a Gallagher deal will be difficult, particularly if Athletico only want a sale, and it will have to be a good deal for us to pursue Nelson.
Makes sense though with the departures of Franca and possibly JRS.

Latest transfer news we have 11 players lined up and there all together in the boardroom now , there going tobe asked one question , put your hands up if you want to play for us first 5 gets a contract , its really true im not lying honest😗😗😗😗

Yeah, I'm sick of us signing so many players all the time. Just wish for once we'd be sensible and show some financial restraint.

If we actually sign a half decent player, i think i will have a Panic attack

£40m and £15m is not very bargain basement!
I’m seeing 15 quoted for both of them .

Would be nice if a few of them come off so we have greater depth rather than just relying on the same 14-15

Would be nice to think on 55 minutes gone , we can bring on two players who don’t weaken us and then being able to do the same as well on 70

Not Roy's finest hour.

Not Roy's finest hour.

Roy needed results not to baby sit so I do understand.

OG is the same look at the amount of time he has had a chance to try others and he doesn't.

Some players can't cut it in the Prem but smash it in other leagues.

It's an argument but my position is different.....not that it matters.

But yeah, I think Roy got this wrong.

Every manager needs results.

The same argument could have been used to against playing the young Ian Wright.
