Sentences too harsh!

Help me work out some thoughts in my head. Not quite trusting my judgement on this one so bear with me.

1. The trial of Axel Rudakubana was delayed but then happens to co-incidentally fall on the same day as Trumps inauguration.

2. At that trial, he pleads guilty to all three murders. Zero sign of any kind of 'mental health' defence which, lets be honest, if you are facing a straight forward no chance of parole life sentence, you might as well give it a go no matter what. In fact, I would argue that any legal team worth their salt would insist on. But instead nothing. Which is fine. But if this was the case, then why the delay in the first place? If you are going to not offer a defence then its done and dusted inside a day?

For me it stinks. To high heaven.

We are being played.

Or are we? Convince me otherwise.

The trial date was fixed last year Matov. It’s actually got to court quite quickly especially when a not guilty pleas was expected.
You would have to be quite a lawyer to get an acquittal in this case.

And he can’t be given a whole life sentence as he is under 21.

While it is difficult to follow cases to establish the speed of justice, it appears tat high profile cases get to the courts fairly quickly.
