Palace potentially denied entry to Europa League?

And gone straight out on loan to New England in the US with an obligation to buy. Lyon wanted to cancel this transfer, Mary Knickers said no.

What in the world of dodgy dealings is going on here. Marinakis buys Jesus and Cunha from Botafogo to swell the Lyon coffers, and then Textor promised to buy Turner after being reinstated?

Midtjylland are quite a decent team - it could be a difficult couple of games if it turns out to be them. Not an easy place to get to either. I think Norwegian fly to Billund airport from Gatwick, then it is another couple of hours from there. Billund being the home of Legoland.
Log onto Hibees Bounce (a Hibernian fans forum) they have just been put out by Midtjylland 3-2 over two legs. Hibs gave a good account of themselves coming up just a bit short. The Danish side have some very talented players but Palace should beat them home and away as we have more depth and quality. Never many foregone conclusions in football (we have upset a few coupons ourselves) but they don't have much pace in their defence.
About 300 Hibs supporters went across but it's harder from Scotland needing two plane changes. From England it's easier but it may still need a stopover I believe. You will find lots of hotel/boozer information from their posts on this trip.

The way I see it Palace we’re in no position to place Textor’s shares into a blind trust. Only he could do it. Alternatively Textor could have put his Palace shares into a blind trust. However SP and the team are being blamed for it. Neither CP nor OL qualified for the Europa League until the same day, the last day of Ligue 1 and Cup Final day 17 May.

We are still waiting to hear which competition we are playing in. Who is to blame? Clearly Uefa has to take most of it delaying their decisions over Lyon and the appeal. Whilst saying that the Club would take the case to CAS Parish did seem to take some time before submitting it. I suppose our legal team needed to rack up the hours going through the details with a fine tooth comb. Still, we have a chance of reaching a 300 pages before the result is published. Watch out for pictures of SP on Friday to see if he is smiling.
Disagree, a bit. Lyon may think they qualified on the last day of the season but at that point they were provisionally relegated to Ligue 2; a fact confirmed in June by the French FA. It was only a successful appeal on 9th July that reinstated them to Ligue 1 (and consequently Europa League qualification). We qualified for the Europa League before Lyon yet somehow we get shafted. Hence the UEFA Mafia slant by the fans.

Must be a train option

Fredrikstad is the easier option, fly to Oslo then just over an hour on a train. Midtjylland looks like it could be an episode from Race Across The World! Fly to Bilund then coach maybe there seems to have been a train that goes to Copenhagen but who knows!

liverpool to bilund to midtjyland 9 hours 30 min

If I can’t get a ticket in our bit, I’ll be in the home end, 100%

I wonder if CPFC will look into
developing a local fan zone for travelling Palace fans without match tickets? Fairly easy to do, it would generate €€€ for the local economy and would be a massive gesture to CPFC's loyal clients (oops, I mean fans). Could be restricted to members and pre-sell entry tickets with proceeds going to the Palace for Life Foundation!

Nothing to do with who qualified first. The decision was made on the finishing league positions in their respective leagues, totally ignoring the fact that we qualified via a cup competition.

Yes, but if Lyon are in the Europa League only from 9th July, why are Palace out from 17th May because of a deadline of 1st March. Different dates mean different outcomes.
