How much of a migrant background?
My father was Polish and fought for the allies in Normandy (nearly killed at the battle of Flalaise Gap 1944).
He got British citizenship but I’m guessing that, since I’m second generation, I’d be gone then?

As second generation Irish with dual citizenship I would presumably be on a boat, along with I assume Nigel Farage’s kids from his German wife, although not the same boat obviously as we would be remigrated to different countries. If that how it would work?
Isn’t the fly in the ointment that all 3rd generation black and Asian people would be immune, which defeats the object?

I’m struggling here. Does ‘between the lines’ mean that we’re talking only about Muslim repatriation? It’s an honest question. Would it include West Indian?

I think there should be immediate deportation of criminals and their immediate family for certain crimes. There should be no appeal or delay permitted.

Deporting people just for being 'foreign' is clearly not desirable.

What would be desirable is the tight restriction of any further immigrants, especially from countries with a poor track record for criminality.

You know what it means. As hrolf said, criminals and 2 nd any not coming for a free meal. Without ID or evidence that they have come from a war torn country or under threat of death or torture. There is still a legal route if the table has something you can bring. Proven escaping from persecution job done.
Surely you know that doesn’t mean you or yours. Or kevlees. Cherry pick what you want but be a bit sensible. If there are a few who would want you gone as an ‘immigrant’ alone then I will lock arms with you. Don’t try to muddy the waters just for the sake of having a different opinion by a very small % to make a point. If you can give an opinion in to why my personal take is wrong then lay it out plain and simple. Most and from reality all on here would not want what you are assuming they want!!!

I'm not a politician seeking office so it's hardly as if I have a manifesto to quote from.

Am I against repatriation? Certainly not, it's something all countries engage in anyway.

And as I've pointed out the mass version has been done to the British previously and no one seems to have cried about that have they.
 
Since 97 when Blair took over there have been many millions who have been let into the country who, in my opinion, have no right to be here. They have been used as a blunt social and economic instrument and both versions have played a cacophony.

Many have reproduced here, which leads to complications and there will also be many people we might wish to keep. However, the nation state as a cohesive unit has been abused.....perhaps beyond repair and personally I would like a last ditch attempt made to recover it.

We will see I guess but I'm doubtful as to our future......the left destroy everything they touch, it's in their nature even when they don't intend it.

I was really interested in the ringing endorsement above of That AfD statement by Mr Hillbilly. That's not really me inventing anything here but reacting to a poster who has endorsed the party on that 'remigration' point; that seems sweeping without any nuances as stated by other replies to me.

On a point of procedure, to what country would those who arrive without papers or passport be sent?

I do think there may be a distinction to be made between those you cite and a general pointing to all Muslims, for example. My worry is that there are those out there who wish to demonise all those of Pakistani descent and make no mistake, these people are keen as mustard to turn people's genuine fears into open warfare on our streets. Now, that's not me being paranoid, dramatising, wetting my gusset, or whatever you'd want to call it. That threat really does exist and it is frightening. In my opinion.

As my maternal great grandfather was Italian, I hope deportation comes down as far as me, so I can get out of this godforsaken sheethole of a country. Brexit seems to have all but scuppered any plans to retire abroad, so it would be a right result if they'd relocate me to a nice house beside Lake Garda somewhere. I really like Sirmione if they would be so kind !
