Marc Guehi

You are condescending tho.
And you yourself are also good entertainment. Another poster that likes to jump on things I've said and criticize. I did think you might pop up in a minute. Are here you are! Thats fine. Keep em coming.

If you read back I posted up a small bit of info I've been told. nothing more. It was not me that made a snarky comment about 'being confused'. Dont like the comeback? No problem. Maybe think before taking someone on and then you dont get a retort you dont like. Attacking a posters comments even in a subtle way every time they post is a lame attempt at bullying. Difference is I'll happily ridicule unthoughtout/hostile responses to anything I post. I'm not going anywhere so its quite simple really. If you have an issue with me just ignore what I post.

£60m plus £5m sounds like a fair fee. If Mark is up for it we should let him go. They are in big need of his talents and we are keen to buy Lacroix. Sounds like a win win to me.
My interpretation of events is that Palace are under no pressure to sell. So by naming a high price it's then up to interested parties to either meet it or come close enough to be acceptable.

The player does not seem to be agitating for a move so it's really up to Newcastle.

If I was Marc, I'd stay put for another season. It's hard to see Newcastle finishing in the top four, so unless Europa League / Conference is what floats his boat, I think he should wait and see if he can get a better move.

Done.

Agree and I am guessing this is probably how MG actually sees it. There is little loyalty in football but Marc seems a really nice lad from a good family with Christian values. He knows Palace have developed him far more than when he arrived from Chelsea. He knows that his next move should probably be to a top 4 club either here or in Europe and he knows staying at Palace at least until January he will be first choice and he will play.
When you think about it, if Newcastle are currently the only option you'd be quite happy to stay put.

What if he doesn't want to extend it?

if he doesn't then get best price we can. Firmly believe losing him would not be a big problem as seen last season when he was out for weeks. As I said him staying would be the best option for the club and if he reaches his potential then sell him for 100m. If Arsenal would pay that for a very ordinary Decland Rice then that amount is par for the course

Newcastle know the price…either pay it or don’t. Palace should make it clear to Newcastle to stop making silly offers. Anything under the asking price will not even get consideration.

Please direct me to the ‘ignore’ button and I will test it out in the Geordie w*nker.
Just click on their big round icon and choose the ignore option .

Conor Gallagher is one of MG's closest friends. Marc will realise how lucky he was to commit to Palace when you look at how CG is being treated at Chelsea.

Fair point, A very close friend of mine shares his Chelsea season ticket with CG's uncle and knows the whole Gallagher family. He told me (after 15 years at Chelsea) they have treated him in a disgusting manner. Told him to train with the kids. Told him he will not be considered to play first team football if he wont move. This all came from nowhere too. One minute he was team captain and an important member of the team. After a click of fingers thats it. Your out. P#ss off!

We all know players are assets that are bought and sold but this just epitomizes what a lack of class Chelsea have.

This is a valid point. CG broke into the England team while at palace. Has he done anything at Chelsea since he went back. He’s had speculation to leave Chelsea every single window since going back. He was loved at palace and treated like s*** at Chelsea.

Of course its going to have an impact. If we are under no pressure to sell, the player isn't aggitating for a move, we dont need the money AND we have already lost his CD partner then I'd say to sorry Newcastle but I do not see Palace letting MG go in this window. Extremely unlikely now. Not that it was likely before!

I'd be more inclined to assume that if we do not have replacements in, we are unlikely to sell MG.

If rumours are true and we are in negotiations for a couple (Lacroix/Araujo), and secure them, maybe then... perhaps.

I'd tend to disagree putting the managers hat on for a moment. OG is likely to be pretty unhappy to start the season with not only two strangers to each other playing CD but strangers to the club and all the staff too.
I would imagine he may well make it clear that he'd accept one leaving but not both.

Its pretty unheard of for a serious Premiership team to sell both their first choice central defenders at the start of a season. I cant believe Palace would do that. I'd personally be angry with the club if they did.
