Marc Guehi

Selling Guehi would leave us with: Lacroix (a great signing), Richards (decent when fit), Chalobah (on loan but would be a decent permanent signing), Riad (hopefully decent) and then Lerma, Clyne, Ward and, in theory, Holding. Can’t help feeling we will need one more, if not now, then definitely in the summer. We’ve all seen how quickly one or two injuries can wreck our plans.

I spoke to my Liverpool friend and they described Doak as a Harry Wilson type player of the future.
Full quote from my friend is "brilliant winger, fast, skillful and a tough little lad with an eye for goal. If he leaves Liverpool he could be the next Harry Wilson".
He was up against Gvardiol for Scotland v Croatia a month or so ago and gave him a torrid time. In fact watching Citeh since then I don’t think Gvardiol has recovered!

No it's a % off the sale go look it up that is typical of what the likes of Chelsea do.

He may well have first option as well clause.
Chelsea have “matching rights” but I can find no evidence of a% sale clause. Can you please give a link to where you got this info from? Ta

With the CDs we have would you sell him with if we were guaranteed to get a top attacking player, ie Cherki, or similar.
He is one of the best CBs I have seen at Palace but I am confident Riad will progress to a very good player. If the price was right and that guaranteed a top attacking player, then yes I would sell. Unfortunately for a club like us, it is the way of the world

Not in this window. We’ve seen the difference when we’ve changed the back three recently. Richards has been poor in his appearances this season. Riad is an unknown quantity. Could be great, could be not up to it. We just don’t have enough evidence to tell.

Our season so far has been built on a reasonably solid defence given our attack isn’t great. Changing that now when we aren’t clear of relegation worries would be daft.

In the summer I doubt we will have a choice. If Guehi wants to go to Liverpool and they want him there isn’t much we can do. To be fair to Guehi he’d deserve the big move. He’s been nothing other than excellent and professional for us.

If you search you will see it was mentioned years ago and it's even in football manager 99% of the time the data in that with regards to contracts etc is correct they have it verified.

Breaking on SSN that Chelsea want to re-sign our captain.

They're also saying that they may recall Chalobah to cover injured Fofana.

Either way they could screw us!!

Neither is happening. This is all clickbait.

Glasner was right, they already have 4 CBs that are unhurt. Why do they need another one.

Also, the kid they played on Saturday was actually pretty good.

What they need is a striker that can actually score. Jackson isn't the answer.

If they had Kerry Dixon, Crespo or Drogba up front they would’ve buried us Saturday

Sell Guehi and let Chalobah go until the end of the season, Richards, Lacroix and Riad, are more than capable, Lerma, Clyne and Ward as back up, LWB, RWB (cover) and left footed attacking player is more important, looking at the table 8th is well available.
Ward and Clyne's days are over, after good careers, they are bench players at most until the end of the season. You don't sell your best players in January, so Guehi wont be leaving, unless you are in financial problems, which we aren't.

I would sell him for £75m this month if Chelsea are serious. Good business should never be under-estimated and opportunities can suddenly pass. No doubt they would try to use Chalobah as a counter-weight sale which would be worth considering if he’s around the £25m mark.
