Marc Guéhi

For what its worth, I think if OG goes, or shows signs towards leaving, Parish will want the money for MG, he's made that clear in the past. Even if he stays we lose him regardless in the summer. Shame we couldn't get him to do an Olise and extend, but as we always do, we move on!

Presumably as any media attention on OG possibly going to UTD someone will be printing that OG Wants to take Marc with him as his captain (or vice captain if the keep Fernandes)

According to the Mirror - OG would take Adam Wharton & JP with him to UTD as well

They’ll be challenging for the Conference League in no time!

without doubt Guehi is important to us but getting £30m in now could allow us to strengthen the team overall to help us in the competitions we're in this season. We're not exactly killing it in defence right now. Glasner's issue was that we didn't have a replacement lined up, not necessarily with the general idea of selling Guehi.

I suspect that the club will consider an acceptable offer for Guehi as he will be available on a 'Free' in the summer. Any transfer will of course be contingent on a suitable replacement.

And why would Guehi want to basically give Palace a cut of his future earnings by leaving this month . Financially it doesn't make sense for him to do anything but see his contract out .
Risk of career-ending injury before the summer, Chance of winning bigger trophies. Immediate higher salary. Playing with better players. Not all financial but still incentives

With the latest news of injuries to Man City defenders could we see a bidding war between them and the bin dippers for Mark in this window?
If so how much would we be happy to accept for the disruption it will cause?

I believe that Mark has become one of the best central defenders in WORLD football, but
for me I would drive him to either destination for anything north of £35m considering the circumstances. However it would need to be done quickly to give us enough time to reinvest it.

I think a lot depends on where the board think we are it. It now looks very unlikely we will finish anywhere above lower mid table. If they think we have enough points to be safe already and we get somewhere around what you say they will sell (provided Guehi is willing to go). If we have a couple more bad results, West Ham win a couple and we run any risk of a relegation fight they have to hold onto him.
