Loaned-Out Players

He was sub at the start of last season for Palace before he got injured and i think he was understandably behind Olise and Ayew on the right attacking role. He was sort out by a lot of championship clubs at the start of the season and apparently subject to a large bid from Southampton. The fact that Sheffield are top or close to the top and he is contributing all means we have a proper player on our books. I think a full season at championship level and they he can slot right into the wide right role in the premier league. I think if we are relegated he will be a premier league player but probably not with us.
Rogers from Villa made this path and players like Harry Kane were also loaned to lower level clubs as part of their soccer education.

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned Luke Plange. On loan at HJK Helsinki, Aki is on the staff there & he's already played European football albeit the 'Conference
League' & albeit as a sub in the 75th min, how many of our esteemed 1st teamers can say that.

More than you would think - 12 (if you include Holding) have already played in Europe - Clyne, Chalobah, Henderson, Holding, Kamada ,Lacroix, Munos, Nketiah, Riad, Richards, Sarr, Schlupp

fantastic - well done Joe.

Made a couple of errors early in the season but it's great to see he's now settled and performing so well week in week out
If only he was taller. He is only 5' 10". I believe all the starters in the EPL are at least 6' 1"

Just watched the Oxford v West Brom match, Malcolm Ebiowei came on in the 74th min, rubbish. Only made 2 complete passes, gave the ball away 5 times & lost possession 3 times. Waved his arms about(a lot), got booked & generally looked like he didn't know what football was. Not impressed 😕

That’s why these players are sent out on loan, I don’t care what anyone says about good for their development blah blah, it’s because they’re surplus to requirements for us and once they start going out on loan their days are numbered, even Rak Sakyi, the only reason we’ve still got him is because lower league teams won’t pay us a decent transfer fee for him and he might do us a turn if the worst happens and we get relegated

Whitworth is doing great, Rak Sakyi and Ozoh have done ok along with Imray at Bromley. Some of the others have struggled. Ebiowei (Oxford) Mathaurin(Hartlepool) and Wells Morrison(Wealdstone) are all on the bench. I had high hopes for Mathaurin but if he cant get into a National League side then maybe i was wrong.

Went to see Bristol city v Sheffield Utd last night, as my mate had a spare ticket.

Was quite happy to see Rak-Sakyi brought on in the 60th minute.

He started on the left, but soon swapped over to the right.

Maybe touched the ball 4 or 5 times in his half hour. Didn't really do much with it, except a nice flick with his left onto his right, and then blazed it miles over. He did try a couple of dribbles before either laying it off or losing it.

Went down in the area following a corner, looking like he was trying to claim a penalty.

Over all, didn't exactly light it up.

But still better than what we have.

Who would you play him ahead of? Sarr? Eze? It’s a stretch to say he’s better than what we have when he has no Premier League pedigree and has performed fine but not outstandingly at Championship level.
