Truth on this is, you probably have a point about Schlupp. However, when you consider it, we had Hughes available and I fail to see why Devenny doesn't get more time. Lad's done well. He's f***ing s***. Funny how some players get this continual backing that they'll come good but players who actually look like they have some talent are written off, like Nketiah for example.
He'll never work out, not good at anything, I prefer Schlupp.
Deveney is a tidy player, can move, get stuck in, pass it well. Just had things to add that Kamada doesn'tTruth on this is, you probably have a point about Schlupp. However, when you consider it, we had Hughes available and I fail to see why Devenny doesn't get more time. Lad's done well.
Mitigation is perhaps Brighton where Kamada was quite good. I also wonder if Kamada is like De Bruyne in training.

Kamada just winds me up as hated him since his first game.I’m not a Kamada fan at all, would play Hughes instead of him every game.
Hes not worth a place in the starting eleven, but is less sh*t than when he started
But…..
Johnson was better than Henderson. Look at him now.
JPM was absolute dogsh*t for 18 months.
Hughes was pony at the start.
AJ was useless til the Brighton Hatrick.
Jedinak wasn’t good enough for ages.
Ian Wright was a super sub and never got a start.
Some players get more chances, because of how they have done in the past , Kamada/Meyer

He doesn't bring much,
Don't run with ball, loves a back pass,
Today was his stupid challenge which gave away the free kick which completely changed the game.
Ok it could have been anyone, but it wasn't it was him.
Why? What is the pupose of Kamada andwhy is OG picking him game after game? There must be someone in the Palace camp - coaches, Parish, reorter, whoever -that ask the manager about his love for the Japanese inernational. Last game (2-5) he was still on, still rubbish after JPM, Wharton, Eze and Michell were substituted. Kamada is on par with Aki A and Gabbiadini. His contributions (positive) are close to zero, running around in No-Man-Land, pushed off the ball all the time, never wins a tackle. Still, back in the line-up for the bext game - it feels like we are playing with 10 men. PS! Would think some of his teammates are pretty p...sed too...I agree. Think he’s pony. I wouldn’t start him. If we need to sure things up I’d bring on deveney, before him. If we need a goal/assist Esse would be better. But others have took time.
No way he can start in the semi final, surely.
Yep he is pony.I watched him when he was off the ball yesterday and he was doing a lot of pointing but often he didn't seem to be confident in where he was supposed to be and was marking space, allowing KdB to have acres of room to pick his passes, which you can't allow. Glasner has been so good for us that I keep wanting to believe he knows something we don't, but it is becoming harder and harder to see what that might be other than being tidy on the ball.
Clearly we have not seen the best version of Kamada which Glasner witnessed at Eintracht Frankfurt.I watched him when he was off the ball yesterday and he was doing a lot of pointing but often he didn't seem to be confident in where he was supposed to be and was marking space, allowing KdB to have acres of room to pick his passes, which you can't allow. I accept that Kamada's performances have in the main been disappointing resulting in an avalanche of opprobrium but it was not too long ago that similar sentiments were raised in respect of Mateta who many deemed was not of PL standard.Yes, he conceded the free kick from which De Bruyne scored and launched the comeback.
But it was a poorly organised wall in which Wharton turned his back that enabled the goal.
The centre backs and Henderson didn't cover themselves in glory for the other goals.
Nonetheless, Kamada is the only one who gets the brickbats for yesterday.
I'm not defending Kamada, who has been poor this season, and doesn't warrant a starting place in my view, and he's unlikely to have one with players returning.
As he can't play as one of the 2 central midfield roles or one of the roles in the front 3 , he doesn't appear to be a natural fit for Glasner's system.
However, we don't have the biggest squad so he will continue to get minutes and he's more likely to contribute without the ongoing heckling.
Glasner didn’t “openly criticise” Mateta. He was asked why he subbed him and gave an honest answer. Had anyone asked him about Kamada’s performance or indeed any of the rest of the team he’d have answered accordingly. I doubt there were many who would have received a positive appraisal!Weird that in Glasner's post match press conference, he openly criticised Mateta, but has never to my knowledge openly criticised Kamada.
The reasoning was non sensical and I find myself annoyed with Glasner for it. He said Mateta specifically didn't do enough closing down, then the team in general didn't close down well enough. Yet...Glasner didn’t “openly criticise” Mateta. He was asked why he subbed him and gave an honest answer. I hope Kamada goes at the end of the season. He’s not performing at his best in the PL for sure, but he gets dogs abuse here for just being on the bench!
Let's put it this way - would we lose anything if Kamada were not here? For a start we'd save 95k a week and we could use Devenny.
I would come at it from a slightly different perspective.Kamada has played in over 125 games in the 'Bundesliga' and in nearly 30 games in 'Serie A', accordingly it would appear that we have not seen the best version of him. Perhaps he can be filed under 'Slow Burner'.
