Kamada will be an asset

He can read the game and his off the ball positioning is quite impressive. If you watch him he is rarely blind to who’s around him within 10 yards. In Europe that will defo show his quality.
He is always scanning, looking around to see the position of opposition players.
I mentioned this to a supporter last week.

I've been saying this for months.

He essentially blocks the ball into the pocket, which is arguably the most dangerous area on the pitch.

To the laymen it looks like he's chasing shadows and not marking anyone.

The Premier League is the most physically demanding league in the world, the step up from European leagues is huge. Its taken Kamada time to adjust and get physically fitter.
This is also the reason the promoted clubs always going to struggle, they just aren't equipped to deal with the power and intensity.

He was the perfect choice for the tactics used to nullify Citeh. He’s never going to run around chasing players like Hughes but his game intelligence is head and shoulders above our other midfielders. He is constantly looking around to see where opposition players are and blocking the channels. De Bruyne and Silva couldn’t find anyone to slip those balls in to and had to resort to playing it wide for crosses which is just what Ollie wanted. His contribution on the break was crucial and he worked his socks off.

Sorry, but I'm not willing to eat humble pie yet. I think some are still missing the fact that his 'great' games are actually only standard/average games...made to look great because of the incredibly low bar he set himself for 9/10 of the season.

I'm definitely not writing him off yet...it's well documented how some players excel in their second season at a club - so fingers crossed. But bar a couple of games where he's been good enough...he's been bang average this season. So let's just own that.

Still not a patch on Wharton, Hughes or Lerma yet. But let's see how next season goes.

He’s had more than a ‘couple of games now’ where he’s been good.

Reading Daichi’s comments after the Cup Final it is clear that he is fully aware of the supporter criticism he has had and his underwhelming start for us. I think he is now getting up to speed with the Premier League and we will continue to see him improving even further.

Just leave it to Glasner. He has shown us all this season that he is way ahead of all posters on here.

He's been pretty good for a while. Issue is that the lay fan cant see most of what he does. And think he'd just standing around not marking.

Midfield was a bit of a mess last night. Gaps all over the place.
