Kamada will be an asset

Doucoure and Hughes on Saturday with Kamada and Devenney off the bench. At least Kamada tries to move the ball quickly. First half against Leicester we were so slow, and then fail to break down the low block.

Trouble is he’s not very good at it, it seems he’s still struggling with the pace of it all, but I can’t deny I’ve seen him play a lot worse

How about in the event of getting on the scoresheet... KaMa KaMa KaMa KaMaDa San, He's scoring goals, He's scoring goals!
(To the tune of Karma Chameleon)
If you are going 80s surely the electro pop hit Da Da Da fits better with his name.

Kamada da da, pinched him from Nap-O-Li, Kamada da da, love child of our own O-G,
Kamada da da, got big wages on a free

I think he needs to prove himself a lot more before we contemplate any real song for him though.

How about Last Train to Clarksville. I’ll pay for the ticket

I think he’s been pony for us. Rubbish. Even worse when you consider his apparent wages.
Was gutted to see him starting today. Hope he proves me/us wong and has a blinder.
When him and beNketiah are getting ready to come on, it makes us weaker (which is terrible when you look at what they are costing)
Sticking to buying the best championship players for 10-20m is imo our best way forward.

In the unlikely event of an imminent goal I would love this to be his song
A

He did ok today, they all did however West Ham’s appalling midfield display meant it was difficult to learn anything about Kamada’s performance.

I need to see him playing a full match against a team that doesn’t give him acres of space to work in to be assured of any progress he is making.

Still, there wasn’t any totally suicidal back passes today so that’s a start.

In fairness to the young man, he was better than Eze today, and Eze was considerably better than he has been recently. For all of you who want to moan about him, fell free to do so, some of you will regardless of how he plays, but he was good today. Yes West Ham where toothless, but that is not Daichi's problem. West Ham are on their way to prime time Potterball. Could be relegated next season. Cant believe they have spent so much money on rubbish players.

I thought he played ok . Not knocked off the ball so easily or dispossessed and always looking to go forward. Made some tackles. Hopeful signs he may justify a place in the squad before end of season. Like nketiah, needs a goal or assist for confidence.

Brilliant isn’t it? It’s only taken two games!! It must be up there as one of the worst performances from any premier league team this season

As for Kamada, nothing spectacular, but fairly steady today

Really? I watched nearly every touch he made pass back to someone behind him.
When he got ball in their half he almost always looked for forward options. In our half he did the team annoying sideways/ back that they all do ( damage limitation instruction by OG?-play percentages n don’t give it away in our half?). Not saying he is ok yet. But there are signs of improvement and I am up for giving credit for that

Not according to the Sky Sports Stats:

69 touches - Passes 92.5% success rate

24.5% - forward passes
26.4% - passed to the left
25.4% - passed to the right
22.6% - passed back

Stats in football don't always give the full picture but do show what you said was patently untrue

Unless you were really unlucky to be not looking at the pitch 75% of the time and only saw his 15 backward passes. Maybe you had your head in your hands as you are sure he's bad you couldn't bear to look when the ball came to him?

He's not had a good impact so far. But he is improving.

BTW on pass accuracy Eze came out top today with 96.9% pass success rate

(Well Schlupp had 100% but only two touches)
