Kamada will be an asset

I'll be honest. I think Kamada could be the first Palace player I was pleased to see get a straight red.

He is a Glasner choice and a bad one. What makes matters worse is that he is generally played deeper than he wants. If he doesn't replace Eze then he shouldn't be on the field. Doucoure, Hughes and Devenney will have carry the load until Lerma and Wharton get fit.

This is what concerns me. Glasner is a good guy and a good manager, but he has no experience of a Premier League dog fight. You can't always play expansive football. Sometimes you have to defend first, stay solid and attack with caution. We have lost games where we should have got points.

It looks like we will be one of 6 teams who can go down, and right now we are one of the favourites. We have to get points against the teams around us. A stronger squad would help. Eze, Sarr and Nketiah are simply not enough.
Early days, always a team that falls apart nearer the end of the season.

And always a team that just never gets going and is effectively relegated by March. Last year it was Burnley. This year it could well be us. Run of upcoming fixtures looks very difficult. Getting to Xmas with about 12 points looks likely if not quite optimistic. That would mean we would need about 25 points from about 20 games. Don’t see that happening. Of course football being football we might go and beat Man City and Arsenal instead …

good point. Burnley had some decent players last year and played some decent football (at times) but Kompany's refusal to change his principles and play out less from the back etc really cost them. Naive springs to mind.
Watching the documentary on Sky you could see the American owners were too in awe of him and gave him too much freedom.
I sometimes watch Palace and feel we are quite a naive team too
