Is the club defrauding loyal supporters?

West Ham have also done away with junior matchday concessions too. There fans have been protesting with black baloons this season.

I still think it's digusting that most clubs don't have concessions for disabled fans. This also applies to teams in the EFL (like cheltenham town for example).

Seems a really short-sighted approach.

Short sighted? Football, the Premier League?
You're having a laugh aren't you?
Players for three years for 100 mil who then just leave on a free? 3-400k a week at big clubs. 90k at small ones. Relying on TV deals in a world where people can increasingly watch stuff for free? That's a great and highly sustainable business model. And the match day experience, just so premium isn't it? It's certainly worth a couple of hundred going to a game.

Just been on their website & whilst the disabled person doesn't get a concession, unless they are young or an OAP, the carer/PA gets a free ticket. I know someone who takes his disabled son to Palace & one ticket is full price & carers/PA ticket is free.

I used Cheltenham as an example as my mum lives over the road from their ground and sometimes goes. She is paralyzed down one side, has some brain damage and is confined to a chair. She can take a carer and I have been with her on rare occasion for free but if she goes then she normally goes on her own and then it's £28 which is a lot for league 2 footy.

I just feel that this is a lot for someone who is in a similar circumstance to my mum (disability wise) and just gets basic PIP allowance (my mum forunately has a pension too). For me, this was never the case years ago and i feel that disabled people used to get in cheaper and is another change that has come in from the clubs.

Its sad to see, while the rest of society has taken great strides in recent years to make life a little easier for the disabled football has gone in the opposite direction. This is a great shame as football clubs used to be a great help to the disadvantaged in their community.

I was just going to join up my daughter to an international membership for a christmas present then i read this

*Due to high demand, exclusive ticket reservations are only available for the following fixtures: Brentford, Everton, Aston Villa, Ipswich Town, Brighton & Hove Albion, AFC Bournemouth, Nottingham Forest and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

I have never seen it before , disgraceful.

After Ipswich match, I have tongue in cheek suggested that, like Ipswich, Palace might when confirming attendance like to say the number of away supporters.
The icing on the cake would be if they gave the number of tourists as well - perhaps some identified visitors could receive badges to sew on their coats to tell them that they have been identified with a note that those seats will in future only be available to CPFC members and ST holders to purchase.

You’ve got to feel sorry for these people though, imagine being stupid enough to want to pay £200 to watch a game involving palace 😀

Once again, moving the goalposts, it is disgusting.

I actually ( you wouldnt believe it ) found a way and a cheaper way around the international membership which allows you to go to any match . Just join as an Adult member (£25), and you can choose to go to any match and reserve the ticket . I had a look at the availability of tickets for the Palace v City match the weekend there is quite a few empty seats but none together and mostly in the lower Holmesdale about 20 in all and the most expensive is £60.

Funny that there's availability for Brighton.

My massive issue is when the clubs come out and defend the increase in prices and say 'well we are selling them'

United whacking their prices up will earn them a whopping...... 20k on matchdays - compare that to the 10 mill they paid off ten haag or 80 mill they paid for antony its laughable

Getting youngsters and concessions through the door is what keeps a non big club going for generations!

Forest have announced they wont be doing new STs

The prem clubs will stick with Sky/TNT as its guaranteed money every season , a subscriber model like Netlfix will change the way clubs get the money etc so that'll take a lot longer to configure - clubs will always vote for what's guaranteed for their club.

Yea i thought that was a bit weird, maybe mind games , like your not a big match to us . Though its probably due to the fact that it could be changed to monday night at the last minute and air Lingus wont change your flights .

From what various members have said, they don't seem to actually watch the football though..... food, selfies, bits of video, more selfies, more food. It's just an item off the tick-list whilst 22 men kick a ball about for most of them it seems.

When I went spurs away last season it amazed me how many Koreans were there. I knew it was a thing because of Son, but how many of them did shock me a bit.

Just like the thousands of Japanese that flock to Selhurst to see their favourite player Kamada 😀

And there we have it, copious amounts of food and drink = £s
