Is Glasner the problem?

The next 6 games will put this question to bed, the players are getting up to speed now. Tough games but you can see us getting points and we are a tough nut to crack. OG has tightened that defence up, someone is going to get a f***ing good spanking soon!

I suspect that should we succumb to a defeat today the Glasner detractors will be out in force.
the police have been looking for a long time for a man spotted urinating on bonfires in the West Sussex area during early November. If you're not careful I will report you to the authorities. In the words of Oddball from Kelly's Heroes: "knock it off with those negative waves".

As long as another character from Kelly's Heroes isn't involved - Don Rickles "Crapgame".
OG just gave a short interview on Sky. He didn't say much except he's happy with the club and the players and likes London, except the traffic but he often uses public transport to get around so he might get spotted at Norwood Junction.

No, not necessarily, depends on what why we lose, bad selections, silly subs, then maybe, but a good battling performance, every player giving 100%, and we lose away, then you cant really call it a surprise defeat, i think it will be 2-2, but i did get all 5 of my acca picks wrong yesterday 🤣 thats a euro i will never see again.

Should we be defeated against our rivals, the detractors will be out in force irrespective of the performance. Only 2 wins in 16 games, 1 of which was at Ipswich who have failed to win at home is very disappointing.

You are right but let's be honest performances without any points don't climb the table.

Much much better in the last few games. I always said I’d liked to be proven wrong about OG and I am delighted that it looks that I was wrong.

Glasner got his tactics spot on yesterday but if I'm honest I dont really think tactics were ever really the problem. Early on when we were putting in good performances but losing it was more about players getting to grips with what he wanted from them. Not completely the players fault. Some were new, some existing but had little rest and were tired, some carrying injuries. This is still the case and for me Wharton is still a huge miss though this has opened the door just a crack for a hungry young Deveney who looks great, Sarr is starting to show why Palace have been tracking him for so long and Chalobah had the best game I have seen so far in a Palace shirt yesterday. Even Kamada swept the ball away on the edge of the box in a perfectly timed challenge and got the ball!
Personally, I think we are now on an upward curve now. Of course both Arsenal games are going to be very tough but we'll go there with confidence high.
Who knows?

Agree, not a case of Glasner wasn't getting it right before. More that, as you said, injuries, players getting up to speed, new signings and some bad finishing hurt us.

We just need a fit Warton and Eze to find some form!
