Yeah, my sleep has been a bit weird for years now.....three hours here and there and then I might sleep for ten. You think it's perhaps too much caffeine and you stop drinking it but it doesn't seem to change much.

Getting older affects you in unexpected ways.......You hit thirty and notice yourself acting a bit like your old man....You hit fifty and you have gone way past him....making him look like a diluted version of what he could have been.

1. avoid alcohol
2. force yourself up early every morning....at the same time...7 days a week.
3. restrict your time in bed to six or seven hours.
4. get a ton of exercise everyday

it worked for me.

It is beneficial for Judges to have experience of their subject. She was a specialist barrister prior to becoming a Judge. Every Judge though applies the law, not their personal opinions, if they even have any. Those are left at home. Barristers work for their clients. Judges judge them. Different roles.

If the politicians don’t like the law then changing it is open to them. It’s their job.

Overseeing the performance of the Judges is the job of the Lord Chief Justice. It’s not the function of politicians. Or right wing tabloids.

How very predictable! Some of her rulings are disgraceful and it’s very odd that you do not consider her personal opinions have influenced her decision making ( thinking about it, not odd at all,). perhaps if the Zimbabwean paedophile moved to Truro you may have a different opinion!
