This is an unequivocal statement. It’s also untrue, as the DNS data I posted confirms. It’s clearly stated so clarification is not required. Correction is though, alongside an apology for posting misinformation.

If you post a correction then you are admitting an error, in this case an untruth. Attempting later to describe this as a clarification doesn’t change that. No apology was forthcoming. Only rudeness and diversion.

What is in other data sets, or what conclusions you try to draw from them, are attempted diversions. I am not interested in them, or your opinions about them. I am only interested in seeing the misinformation admitted and corrected.

Then when you are requested to withdraw totally untrue assertions of an entirely personal nature you fail to do do. These are not only derogatory, insulting and untrue they are also potentially libellous.

So I ask you again to withdraw them. They are lies.

I have literally covered this in post #403 explaining the reasons for the differences in datasets. No misinformation was given as they are factually correct statements give their datasets. However, your 'many visas' statement was misleading.

You seem to wish to travel around in circles on this matter. If anyone is interested I suggest they read from the start of the discussion at #260 rather than read your personal summary.

It's also noted that when asked to show where I had...to quote you, 'What you posted was, by your own admission, untrue' you failed to do so as I never said anything was 'untrue'.

If you are referring to the legal case, if you aren't the person in question then I don't mind withdrawing what would be untrue, however if you are, you are.

A person using an avatar, board name nickname etc cannot be defamed or libelled under UK law.

The identity of the victim or plaintiff has to be known and in the public domain of those who might see or hear the alleged defamation.

A simple statement such as " I am not now or have ever been known as David Bush , a criminally convicted property owner in Cornwall " would put this to rest.

This was your “explanation”:-

There is no wriggling out of the fact that the claim is wrong. It’s not simply “from another data set”. It applies to completely different circumstances. It’s misinformation. No amount of dribbling prevarication, or diversions on to other matters, can disguise that.

You, by posting the statement from Co-pilot, admitted this, even if it was implied rather than honestly and openly stated. Which is unsurprising, given your history.

Your weasel words in the last paragraph are the mark of a coward. I have given a clear and unequivocal statement that I have never stood as a defendant in a criminal court, let alone be convicted, fined or given a suspended sentence. Any decent and honourable man would accept that statement and unreservedly apologise for the defamation. I am not “the person in question”. It's a false contention that a set of parameters had been defined before stats were presented. What I presented, once clarified.....despite your inaccurate claim that I wouldn't do so.....made plain what the differences within the different datasets were.

Copilot and Grok confirmed those statistics and Grok defined datasets.

There is no inaccuracy there and you are presenting misinformation to suggest otherwise.

Again, I note that your claim that I admitted something was 'untrue' was ignored when I asked to be shown this admission....which was just something you made up as an interpretation.

As for you talking about the concept of decency and honour.....I regard that as your attempt at dark comedy.

When the subject was Falmouth and its diversity, suggesting one of the several barbers there might be “dodgy” makes no sense at all.

If you want to introduce the subject of money laundering then may I suggest you simply comment, rather than respond to another unrelated post. Do I really need to spell that out to you?
 
To my mind the test of immigration is to look at the generations.

First - Are they in employment and sorting out their own accommodation?

Second - Are they settled in their new country? - footballers' children and the children of missionaries

Third - Are they affectionally respected by the whole community in which their grandparents chose to seek a better life?
 
Becky's been ill?

Lots of people have seemed to pick something up just recently. Having young sons at school means that my immune system is always fighting something off or other.
