And I suspect many of us would have not wanted our own kids being friends with those poor girls. And we have all been cowed, for various reasons which are understandable but none of them honourable, into having to effectively whisper our outrage lest we lose jobs or even our liberty. Guilty as charged by the way.

A judge's comments during sentencing on rapes carried out by one of these gangs (2013) on underage girls went viral on X after a freedom of information request I think (not certain on that last bit).

Anyway when it picked up comments Musk focused on it and is massively criticising the government and essentially here we are. Some might be cynical and notice that it takes the conversation away from the H1B issue in the states.

However, nothing he is saying is 'misinformation' in my view. All we get from government is the perspective that we also get from Cornwall.

Sorry, not good enough and bells are going to toll. It's just a matter of when.

And lets be honest, they are tapping into a rich vein of fully justified seething anger at this that has only been kept at bay because people are literally being threatened with loss of income or their liberty if they dare speak up.

But we are heading towards a potential spark point with the Southport trial due to start. There was already enough tension around that but this literally now a case stirring people up even more.

There was a definite push to get rid of Starmer in the autumn. Led to him giving Sue Gray the chop, along with him slagging off the civil service. But he survived. Now this....

They (Blair Foundation who are effectively funded by the Globalists) want him gone. And are showing how they can put the pressure on by stirring up this stuff. Interestingly, it was Wes Streeting who spoke up against Musk today. Only Cabinet minister seemingly willing to do so. Wes Streeting is a 100%, bought and paid for asset of Blair.

Add the fact that Mandleson has been appointed Ambassador to the US and this all starts to stink of a possible attempted coup against Starmer directed more from London more than Washington. Just going the long-way around this time with Washington happy to play ball in exchange for whatever Mandleson has been selling them.

This was an issue that was poorly understood and not given the attention it deserved at first. That wasn’t deliberate. Combined with a lack of resources in the areas it happened in together with a lack of cooperation from a suspicious local population the police faced problems, which were compounded by decisions now seen to be mistakes.

Nobody is apologising for rapists, or terrorists. Every criminal needs to be detected and others deterred from imitating them. The only questions are how best to achieve that. Not if we must.

Suffice to say anyone who jumps on a bandwagon that has been allowed to be parked for a while whilst the forces of law and order quietly do their jobs, albeit slowly due to the mountains they need to scale to bring about justice, are not serving the needs of either the victims or protecting others.

I listened to some of it but Maggie Oliver’s contribution to this is well known and not new. She is a brave, honest and caring lady who observed things she knew were wrong and spoke out. Her contribution was partly responsible for the provision of greater resources which she herself acknowledges was a significant problem, alongside the directive from the centre to tackle things quietly.

Alongside the other stuff pulling Maggie Oliver back onto centre stage, when things have moved on from her putting the issue in the spotlight, raises the question of why now?

It’s not an accident. Someone is stirring a pot. It has little or nothing to do with any genuine concerns about the victims.
