Strikes me this is a powerful argument for everyone to have to carry ID cards, including children, and for any place offering accommodation to be required to check and record them prior to allocating accommodation. Any adult trying to book accommodation, especially on a short term basis, who is accompanied by an unrelated child, would be subject to further checks or refusal.
 
Sadly our world is becoming less and less safe, with anyone finding their way in new situations in danger. As dangerous people become more confident the danger increases. As an extreme I would be cautious if a stranger invited me for a pint after a match at Selhurst Park. To the victim everything appears good, and grooming starts.

All this has happened because social liberals and the left created the toxic atmosphere that enabled it. They attacked, smeared and in many cases sacked those that spoke about the racial component of what went and goes on.

This forum, especially the former one, is full of their supporter's words. All saved for posterity.....They attacked, but it was they who were in the wrong.

This is the left's voting base and it's why they protect them, without Elton Musk buying Twitter they would have been successful in hiding, averting and deflecting blame, which has been their default response for decades.

He reveals very clearly why he was detained and questioned.

He is a conspiracy theorist who produces videos and thinks that what is said on the internet is the truth.

Our security forces keeping tabs on such people is to their credit.

Shame they didn't keep good enough tabs on the Southport killer, the Manchester Arena bombers or the 7/7 attackers. And so many others that were on watch lists/ had been warned about/ were referred. Every single one was "previously known".

All of this happened because there are some awful people in this world who abuse children.

It arises in situations in which people position themselves so they can hold power over the vulnerable, in this case children.

Any abuse of power is disgusting to witness.

We are seeing far too much of this recently, especially in the USA.

The Southport killer was a loner with no known political views or associates. He raised concerns but not sufficient for interventions.

MI5 will be keeping tabs on many, but they cannot arrest people just on suspicion. They do stop quite a few, which don’t make the headlines, but will never stop them all.

There were supposed to be interventions. But they didn't happen. What is Prevent if not a supposed intervention?
You're bending the truth for your own purposes here. All, every single one, were previously known and had been referred or were on a watchlist. There is no arguing it.

There were no lone wolves or surprises. Yet, this guy wastes hours of anti terror police time - for what end exactly?
Explain to us all what a danger he is and that the others weren't. What are the correct priorities do you think? Actually, do you know what, don't bother.
 
For anyone new reading this forum let it be noted that the guy calling others 'conspiracy theorists', spent years on Hol regularly pushing the Russia conspiracy hoax and telling anyone who would read him that Trump was guilty and was going to jail....He was told he was wrong from the start but it made no difference. Even when it turned out to be the nothing burger it was predicted he spent many posts telling readers that, in effect, the 'truth' would come out...in other words the forever 'jam tomorrow' that makes someone look silly.......He carried on making excuses even when the intelligence services dropped the investigation and apologised after criticisms.

Despite having no leg to stand on he couldn't face up to the simple truth that he was wrong all along.

He was also on here pushing misinformation like Trump hadn't been shot and that instead had been hit by glass from the podium.....even when a simple google search could have shown him that the podium hadn't been hit and that the treating Doctor had written it up as a gunshot wound.

He also criticised people on Hol saying that the virus came from the Wuhan lab and called them conspiracy theorists. Embarrassingly for him, this view has now turned out to be the actual view of the intelligence and security services and makes him look like.....Well, we all know what it makes him look like.

When this guy calls someone a conspiracy theorist, the increasingly general rule with him is to wait a year before finding out that the incorrect theorist was him all along.

i guess thats why so few of his ilk are wreaking havoc on our streets ? no machetes, no stabbings, no bombings, no paedo grooming, no car crashes into crowds of people, no narco terrorism...........none at all from his demographic.

now if only 'OUR security forces' could do the same for all the baddies, eh wisbech ?

Indeed, our forces are completely adequate for dealing with someone who watches MAGA videos online. But, unfortunately, we need some work on paedo videos and Islamic terror/ state/ Al Queda videos. But at least we can hassle people for slightly wrong think, just not actual terrorism or murder.
You could argue we're half way there. Give it another century or so of law enforcement and we might catch up to what's actually happening - rather than worrying about some kind of spectre of Lord Halifax emerging in dark or brown shirts and marching around the place.
Who marches in largely black now almost every weekend in London? It isn't Moseley anyway.

Prevent is about to be reviewed to try to ensure that people don’t fall through the gaps, which has obviously happened. That they were known is, on its own, no guarantee that they can be stopped. I don’t know how many people are “known” to the authorities but I guess most are just on a watch list. Which doesn’t mean their every moment is recorded. Just that they receive more attention than the average person.

This does pay dividends as the authorities do stop things from happening but they cannot possibly stop all. All they can do is try to stop as many as possible and get better at doing it.

The Southport killer had no known political affiliations and no accomplices. He was a classic loner, who drew attention to himself because of violent behaviour but because it wasn’t associated with any known threat he was one who fell through a crack. That’s what will now be addressed.

Perfect results are an impossibility. Improving isn’t. Know it alls will always criticise.

This is yet another complete twisting of reality by someone with a track record for doing so. Indeed the tactic is depressingly familiar as it is also done by Trump regularly.

The involvement of those in the Trump campaign with Russia back in 2016 is not a conspiracy theory. It’s a fact. People were jailed as a consequence. The Mueller enquiry did not “exonerate” Trump as he liked to claim, and is effectively parroted by the apologist above. Mueller was stymied from taking action by Barr advising that a sitting President could not be prosecuted. Mueller directly says that his report does not exonerate the President.

I don’t recall ever suggesting that he was hit by a glass shard and don’t believe I did so. What I did say was the truth. He was lucky but quickly recovered his usual tactic of overplaying things to try to gain an advantage. The “doctor” referred to was not from the local hospital but a golfing friend who was flown in to ensure the bandage applied drew the maximum sympathy from his support base. Some of whom started to imitate it.

The origins of Covid remain unproven. Credible theories that have emerged that it could have originated in the Wuhan lab remain just that, theories. That some of the intelligence agencies now believe that theory to be the most likely explanation does mean it is. That is exactly what I have said all along. It’s possible but we don’t know and most likely we won’t ever know.

To compare these to the behaviour of guys who post political theories online which have zero evidence to support them is ridiculous. They truly are conspiracy theories.
