The only argument I have yet heard which could possibly justify holding even more enquiries into this are that they ought to debunk the kind of dumbass attitude in the above comment.

Some people seem less interested in finding solutions than in seeking revenge on those who initially tried another path to one.

I would never state something is true just because I think it is. I would say it’s my opinion that it’s true. Until verified by incontrovertible evidence, provided or reviewed by respected sources, it can only ever be an opinion. Facts are slippery beasts.

Yes but when an opinion is based on personal experience it should have more validity than one based on theory. You argued about the reality of a comprehensive school education even though I went to one and you didn't.

I don’t recall arguing that. It must have been a very long time ago and without the context I cannot comment.

Whether any opinion has more or less validity than another will surely depend solely on the strength of the evidence? Which could be bolstered by personal experience, but not necessarily. That’s my opinion. At the moment.

We used to have a cohesive and safe society in Ireland but the EU and our government didn't like that. It was all a bit twee - isn't it great now that it's all a bit "street" and edgy. Really, what we all wanted and certainly needed.

Let's jail Tommy Robinson, make persons in authority fearful for their jobs, give the victims minimal media coverage, and it'll all go away.
Anyone who even mentions this racist child-raping, we'll label as far-right extremists and jail them as well.
