Petition: Launch a Public Inquiry into Grooming Gangs
A taskforce has helped arrest hundreds of offenders since 2023. We believe abuse is large scale and ongoing. Yet we think the authorities refuse to acknowledge the background and motivation of abusers, the failures of police, social workers and local councillors, and potential cover-ups.

Personally I think it is a wonderful example of just how great the British justice system is that a man who can do what he did to young girls (the pulling the nails out bit deserves special kudos) can be locked away for an entire 9 years before being released back out into freedom.
I think we can all agree that this man will be clearly rehabilitated along with a society that can both shame, and bring about possible criminal charges, on people who think the punishment most certainly did not fit the crime.
Luckily for us, we have a system where by 65% of our judges went to private schools and can therefore pass effective judgements on what impacts the most socially disadvantaged groups in our society.
Three cheers for the UK! And long may it continue.
