Glasner Out

Well, he has said as much many times and I personally feel he is a genuine man that doesn't lie. We all want to be paid well for what we do but Glasner is. Whether he extends his contract at Palace or moves on he will get a pay rise regardless and rightly so. I just dont think that is his overriding priority.
Unlike some managers where it is obvious that its their no.1 concern
He is reportedly paid £4.5m a season which puts him around 6-7 highest paid in the premier league. Not bad for someone who is not motivated by money.
For what it’s worth I also don’t believe he would leave just for more money!

We are all motivated by it whether we admit it or not. My point was I dont believe it is top of his list of priorities. Of course he has to be paid what he believes he is worth. We all need to feel valued.
He obviously has a good negotiator for an agent. Then again, no one is holding a gun to Parish's head. Its his choice to pay him what he does. Worth every penny imo

I could put up with all his media mind games whilst we are winning and although I know he is a very good coach, gave us our best 2 days at Wembley and we have lots of injuries etc, but I feel it is getting to that stage that if we don’t start winning soon and there isn’t a bit more stability around the club in terms of his future and the players then I seriously feel we may be forced to change manager soon.

Many clubs would sack OG just for today let alone it being part of a run in which we bottled qualifying from the Conference league and have picked up 2 points from a possible 18.

If I were Parish I would say to OG he either signs a new contract this week, shows commitment and is in it for the long term or I would get rid now so we can start rebuilding.

The Emperors new clothes, Page 1 post, F*****G Useless,
There are 3 reasons for our continued slide into mediocrity, it’s not the depth of squad, it’s the poor quality of our latest signings, Pino, Uche, Sosa, Esse and Canvot about 80m, if you add Nketiah 30m none of the 6 are Premier league standard, all agreed by Glasner, his own words, I would show a bit of Leeway to Nketiah as he is always played out of position.
Secondly, Glasners total lack of flexibility with his selections and tactics, the farcical line up against Kups, being a case, and Thirdly the air of uncertainty created by Glasner with his choice of comments to the media, the season now is winning the Conference league and a mid table finish, but I am not sure Glasner has the resourcefulness to do that.

It was crying out for somebody to try a run, a shot, beating a man, something creative. Might not work against EPL level players but today it is exactly what we needed.

I thought the exact same! Just need someone to do a few flicks or step overs. Win a penalty or something, anything at all.

I've backed OG 110%, but I wont lie after the diabolical lineup and result against KUPS, I was LIVID, and now I sit here having watched whatever *that* was, I'm equally deeply troubled that this so called elite Manager has absolutely 'shlt the bed' in two cup competitions which could have been the second step in terms of club progress. Instead we're floundering in the league and now having to play the ruddy playoffs in Europe, which based on today will not yield another day in the sun.

He needs to give his head and team a wobble and get back on track.

The more I think about this the more I think there is a case for moving on from OG now. We probably have enough points to be clear of relegation and we aren’t going to doing any better than that in the League. I suppose there is a case for keeping OG in place while we are still in the Conference League but then he has also made an complete balls up of that competition and his tactics have been a failure in it.

Given he’s probably off in the summer anyway I’m struggling to now see a case for keeping him around as opposed to getting someday new in, letting them evaluate the squad and having proper time to prepare for next season

The fact that he said you do not need a manager for games like this is the utmost arrogance absolving himself of any blame today yet he picks the team lol. Think it is time to move on now. I would not renew his contract tbh
