Glasner Out

I've backed OG 110%, but I wont lie after the diabolical lineup and result against KUPS, I was LIVID, and now I sit here having watched whatever *that* was, I'm equally deeply troubled that this so called elite Manager has absolutely 'shlt the bed' in two cup competitions which could have been the second step in terms of club progress. Instead we're floundering in the league and now having to play the ruddy playoffs in Europe, which based on today will not yield another day in the sun.

He needs to give his head and team a wobble and get back on track.
He needs to commit now or go. Who the f*** wants this drama going on any longer. Even MG is getting boring now. Just get what we can for him and get him gone too. He has been amazing but the club most come first and the wheels are well and truly off now.

The fact that he said you do not need a manager for games like this is the utmost arrogance absolving himself of any blame today yet he picks the team lol. Think it is time to move on now. I would not renew his contract tbh

He's right, what do tactics matter ? Our tactics didn't lose today, it was the terrible attitude and quality from the players.

IMO, I don't think he was every going to re-sign, he's always be positioning himself for a bigger move, and I certainly couldn't blame him for that.

My concern is in trying to make himself look like a man of greater sporting integrity he's just dragged this out, citing backing, signings etc knowing full well he's at Palace, but when he eventually gets the offer he wants (and could argue deserves) he can roll out the "well, I didn't want to go, but it was an impossible situation for me and make the club look like the bad guy.

Equally I'm worried on the flip side that we're the spotty teen boyfriend trying to keep his first girlfriend who in reality already has one foot in the BMW of the cooler, older lad from up the road, but we'll still pay for too many dinners, nights out and loans when the outcome is already done and dusted.

Well, he won't get that now, he would be lucky to be offered Macclesfield now!

That's what I was thinking too. He needs to work with people. We need a set piece coach for starters. He should have worked with Dougie. But wouldn't. It worked, until it didn't.
Do we not have a set piece coach ? I thought all premier league teams had one .
As for Dougie ,did he not leave for Saudi and was going to leave even before OG arrived ?
Genuine questions not arguing

Just read OG’s comments. He’s right about lack of quality but it’s like he’s a commentator and didn’t have any influence on it.

Also talks about anger in the dressing room. Where on earth was the anger on the pitch?

It’s staring to look like he simply can’t motivate this group of players.

Ignoring today, I think the biggest issue is it looks like OG made his mind up after the summer and is now leaving us to hang until hes agreed a deal elsewhere - I dont think hes the type to go clubless when his stocks quite high at the moment.

There's no motivation in the squad at the moment, a lot have a slight chip on their shoulder after we won the cup and are looking ahead to moves in the summer. Look at all the rubbish Munoz came out with about playing champions league football after signing a new contract and taking Joel Wards number in the summer. JP is just as bad, clearly doesnt watch his own highlights as a CL team would be fools to take him from us.

Feels a but like Leicster fans may have after they won the league, everyone bar Vardy suddenly wants to go. In our case its probably Lacroix and Mitchell the only players who look like they just want to do the best for the club. Guehi has just kept his stock high and its now either he goes this month or moves abroad and agrees something with a Bayern or a Real.

Final comment on OG, his refusal to change system after losing Munoz and it being evident 3421 doesnt work without him is something bigger clubs will look at. Exact issue Utd have just had with Amorin, but in true fashion they'll probably go for him.

We need to calm down. Yes it is a disastrous result and shows how actually winning the FA Cup was our pinnacle. The result today was our disaster.
OG and the players are probably as depressed as we are. Personally I think the plastic pitch was our downfall; sure, they train on one but playing an actual match is different.
Their second goal was a bit of a fluke, without that the redo would have been different.
Congratulations to Macclesfield; move on.

I mean it’s just a game of football so we should all move on. It’s not a one off though. This has been on the cards for a while. We don’t convince against smaller teams and our form has been abysmal for a long time now.

I looked up set pieces coaching and couldn't find a set piece coach for us. I didn't look that hard.
I heard a rumour that Glasner said he didn't like working with a DOF, if they wanted any input. And that Hobbs is more head of recruitment than a DOF. I heard Dougie was happy here but wouldn't work like that.
Just what I heard. It could all be rubbish, but it kind of resonated with me.
Dougie's leaving didn't seem particularly planned, did it?

The way I see it he’s leaving. The players know he’s leaving and that along with the lack of training sessions is what we are now seeing on the pitch.

It’s now down to the board if we leave him in charge as we won’t be relegated and OG leaves in the way he deserves for what he has achieved. Or we let him go now, sell MG and buy the players the board and scouting team believe we need rather than who OG would want.

Personally I would leave him in charge as I feel we are going to buy for the club and not OG anyway.

Maybe we fell into the trap of doing what the manager wants and not necessarily what's best for the club? Freedman brought us players that were traditional "Crystal palace" players. One could say he built our promotion team and built our fa cup winning team.
The signings we have made this season feel like west ham type signings 🙊

If what you say is right and I think it is, then we should get rid now. Bring in the new person, give them the rest of this season to evaluate the squad and give the players some motivation to impress a new person. OG will always have respect for winning a trophy but if he’s off anyway we should be ruthless. Don’t think we will be though
