Right on, and may well be spending the next two weeks "inside" the zonal demotion places with Ipswich FC looking to pick up 3 points with an optimistic game scheduledTwo last weeks above the relegation zone. Enjoy.

I think he can also be criticised for not changing the system today given how many players were out. Today really was crying out for a back four with Clyne at right back and then a midfield four with Munoz on the right and Sarr on the left. Kamada had to play today given injuries but should have been in a number 10 role ahead of the midfield and behind Mateta.I wasn't sure why Devenny was subbed and not Kamada. Surely a young player like that would play the 90 pretty easily. And ultimately Kamada was sent off not long afterwards. If I'm going to criticise Glasner it's for this firstly. Surely he can see that.
I don't know why we chased Sarr for so long. He's never been particularly good, frankly. And there was no point even pretending that he replaced Olise. We competed reasonably well for 44 mins and even created a few half chances without their keeper being really troubled.
And then our best player in the first half, Lacroix, made an error which Fulham scored from.
At the beginning of the second half Glasner reshuffled the players, shifting Guehi from midfield (where he had given us a competitive edge ) to left of the back 3.
This meant a central midfield of Kamada and Devenny which Fulham ran through at will and they totally dominated the second half and should have scored more.
The reshuffle really didn't work.
Kamada's woes are well
documented, but Sarr is a major disappointment.
I thought he was quick and strong, but I lost count of how often he was outpaced and outmuscled today.
It's fine saying we'll be ok when our players are back, but even then there has to be a question mark where our goals are going to come from.
This is why I think we should probably make a managerial change. It’s just not working. OG isn’t getting organisation out of the team, he isn’t getting fight, he sure isn’t getting goals. Of course it could have been different and with the right set up OG could have pushed us on. Ideally we wouldn’t be starting from here with this squad. But we are where we are and we have to change it. Just doesn’t look to me like he’s the right person for a relegation battle. I think he’d rather stick to his principles and formation and get relegated than be pragmatic and change things to get points. The thing is….
We knew we had a depleted team
We kind of expected to lose
But the one thing OG is supposedly famed for is his organisation - and today was a shambles…
In the past, there has always been a minor miracle where we win games like this ……but this never looked likely
In truth, even at full strength, we are still a poor team. There are teams in the Championship that could turn out better performances than us.
Today was like lambs to the slaughter
That’s the really frustrating thing with both the Sarr and Nketiah transfers. It’s not like they’ve regressed. They are just playing at the level they have their whole careers. So the question is why did we try so hard to get them and spend so much of our budget on them? Do we really think the squad would be worse with Ayew and Eduoard in their place?I don't know why we chased Sarr for so long. He's never been particularly good, frankly. And there was no point even pretending that he replaced Olise.
The only thing I'll find acceptable about our crap transfers is if we stay up and actually do the main stand.
I also wonder if we have an option to buy on Chalobah as otherwise it's going to be a Gallagher situation. Which seemed to go on as long as Nugent and McCormack.
Enchanted words G.O. Like you, I am going to remain positive too.Let us be positive. We have won a game this season. Like Derby some years ago. Hell will freeze over before we win again.
My only thoughts from today are that with that 11 selected to start which was our best 11 available was that we would be beaten by a much stronger Fulham team. And that’s how it turned out. Positive's were the youngsters that came on and of course the one that started. I just hope that Glasner knows that Kamada and Schlupp when our missing players are back don’t ever get a look in again and the youngsters are in front of them for selection including the bench.
Makes me laugh, we release Ayew but keep Schlupp who looks like he's been assisting at the pie stall. That’s the really frustrating thing with both the Sarr and Nketiah transfers. I'm worried about the 7 losses in 11.Enchanted words G.O. Like you, I am going to remain positive too.
REMEMBER we have participated in 4 ardious full-length soccer matches since our alarm clock woke us up a fortnight ago, and bar a comforting perfectly good last-chance saloon winning score being unfastened by the British Video Assistant Referee, we would have tasted 3 victories in 4 which is easily construed as the form of EPL "leading 4"
For those Crystal PFC folk not following the virtues of Manchester CFC, you can rest easy over the next 12 hours or so feeling the warm solace they have been defeated 3 on the foxtrot. And yes, whilst many of us will feel sad at the current form of the 2024 EPL championship team, we can feel better knowing our form trumps that of our championship team.
Stay positive fellow Crystals, the future is very bright for us all and life is too short to worry about one defeat today, which truth told flattered them as a zero zero or one to one score card wouldn't have looked out of place either.
And finally, another positive from today was the performance of J Devenny who made his maiden appearance today and held his own.
Mr Devenny joined us from Scottish Highland soccer sides Airdrieonians Kilmarnock FC
Kind Regards everyone, keep the faith.
