The Fulham game was always going to be difficult due to injuries. However, given the injuries our tactical set up was wrong. OG’s changes made it worse. I also didn’t like the attitude that was almost defeatist. It’s Fulham, not Real Madrid. You have to go in preparing for and believing you can get a result. Might be very difficult with such a depleted team but you have to give it the best chance.
More worrying for me is the other games. We’ve had relatively benign fixtures and got 7 points. Better players back will help but I would be surprised if we see Eze and Wharton back to full fitness much before Xmas.
I really hope everyone is right that we will suddenly transform after the international break and start doing things we haven’t done all season so far
