Think Eze’s release clause expired at midnight last night..!!

Anyway if it’s Spurs - Levy will be offering a packet of crisps up front, followed by a packet of smarties every year for eternity..!!

With some of the crazy deals going round - Parish is now going to demand more that the original release clause - argument being only 2 weeks left in the window - no realistic opportunity to replace him and he still has 2 years on his contract..!!
 
I’m getting sick of writing this - another day goes by and nothing..!!

I’m at a loss trying to get my head around what the hell is happening..!!

Look I get if we keep the squad together that won the FA Cup and Community shield together, that’s probably something we didn’t expect..!!

But the fact remains we need depth - look at Sunday back up centre backs Lerma and Clyne.

Midfield likely Wharton and Hughes - back up Devenny.

We just have no bloody depth..!!

All the elation from winning the FA Cup and Community Shield has gone for me - we had an opportunity to build on that momentum and we’ve blown it big time..!!

We need 3 bloody players others are doing business why ain’t we..!!

It’s an absolute shambles and after the mentioned earlier I now feel entirely deflated and that’s all down to SP and his constant procrastination..!!

The other thing that’s really giving me the ache..!!

Is that we put out this long winded statement about we didn’t get a fair hearing at UEFA or CAS..!!

Yes the outcome was a joke, yes it’s unfair, yes it’s against sporting principles and yes everyone can see we’ve been shafted..!!

But the fact remains - we got an email and didn’t act on it and that’s down to administrative error..!!

The Greek at Forest acted on it - we didn’t…!!

You can argue all you like it’s just a loophole and a ridiculous one at that - which it is..!!

But the fact remains it was an administrative error on our part - if we’d have acted as we should have done we would not be in this position..

And that’s why we were thrown out of Europa and lost the subsequent appeals to UEFA and CAS..!!

SP can dance around it all he likes - but them is the facts and that’s all on SP I’m afraid to say..!!

John Stones - City - loan, according to reports City happy to let him go.. !! A fit John Stones even at 31 is still Englands best centre back..!!
Hackney - buy - what £20M - looks decent..!!
Then this is going to be really controversial - Sterling - loan - it would be just so Parish..!! But in fairness he’s still only 30 - 3 seasons ago was the first name on Englands team sheet - yes subsequent moves haven’t worked out - but can OG get the best out of him/back to where he was..?? He’s done it with Sarr at Marseille wasn’t getting a sniff - now look at him..!! Could OG do the same for Sterling..?? I don’t know - but there’s a player there for sure..!!

I hate loans I really do - just puts players in the shop window if they work out and leaves us with a huge hole to fill, add on to this Guehi leaving on a free and Eze with only a year left on his contract at the end of next season - strategically and incoming transfer revenue wise it’s awful - but unfortunately that’s the mess we’ve managed to get ourselves in..!!

For this season do the above and keep everyone else - we’ll be very competitive both domestically and in Europe - especially with the walking wounded returning….!!

We will see.!!

I saw a stat we are the lowest spenders across the top 5 leagues in Europe. Is this linked to Textor leaving?
It really is very bizarre. Are we in trouble financially? We got millions for 10th, won 2 trophy’s, have European football ahead of us. Reduced the squad size by releasing players. The above sounds great if we added players beyond the 2 that joined. It’s really disappointing. I understand the window is still open but I feel we will recruit only when we sell which means something has changed / is wrong

Seriously, you need to calm down. Your posts are becoming increasingly erratic and nonsensical. Anyone stating that we should get Sterling for example is simply wanting a player for the sake of it, not because he would add anything to the team. John Stones...a very nice bench warmer. And while we are it why not Rasmus Hoijland or Nicholas Jackson. ??
 
I see Forest are now spending a fortune and bringing in decent players.

Getting a bit fed up with the whole situation. Still waiting patiently for something to happen but I just know SP is saving his, “we managed to hold onto Guehi and Eze” speech until the window closes and we have bought another goalkeeper (just in case the other 4 we have are injured) and a 16 year old from Shamrock Rovers who will never play for us.
