There are plus points and minus points in anything but it's incredibly poor how we've left one of our options for a front three as between Edouard, Rak-Sakyi, Devenny and Esse. None are acceptable replacements for Eze, which is exactly what Glasner is thinking.
Edouard: not worth really talking about. Why waste our breath? He doesn't.
Rak-Sakyi: could probably do an average job on the right. Maybe as a sub. But what then? Put Sarr on the left? Why?
Esse: we all saw the manager berate him for show boating. And he's barely played. This is where I'd question Ollie and youngsters. He's the best option of what we have.
Devenny: played against Fredrikstad, was very average. Is a hard worker and busts a gut. We like that. But he's not strong, skillfull or visionary. He has a good mentality but probably not his position. I'm wondering what his position is these days: Jack of all trades.
To have our only left sided attacker leave with no realistic back up is pretty pathetic. I would be majorly pissed if I were Glasner. We've left him with a couple of Aldi middle aisle circular cutting tools to cut girders.
