Time to start doing Business Steve..!!

I know what you mean, but as I used to get told in my working life, “ you are responsible for your career, not your employer “.

Ebs has release clause and he has no input as to whether that is met by a prospective purchaser. It’s between the buyer and seller to agree on.

With Guehi, I’m a little surprised he hasn’t gone yet but he knows he needs to be playing week in, week out this World Cup season.

If he decides to stay put, the upside is Palace aren’t forced into the market at this late stage and sign a replacement that may or may not work out. We got lucky with LaCroix a year ago.

I also think the clubs financial landscape will change next summer which may soften the blow of not getting a fee for him. But that’s probably optimism getting the better of me !

People keep repeating that Guehi needs to be playing every week why does he?

Look at the history on selections for players that really doesn't make any difference.

If he is so good as well he will be in the team.

Palace will not be forced to have to do anything even if he did go late.

We will be working on things already it's just that you can see it unless you are the big teams who can sell or buy for silly amounts the deals etc wont happen to right at the end.

I do think SP as well is focused on other things a bit too much which isnt helping matters we have had 0 news about whats going on with stadium another year passes.

I just hope with Woody coming in some sense will be put in place and he uses influence to stopping this 1 stand nonsense and we have cash injection for a new stadium.

The f*** are you bleating on about my agenda ? i dont have one . Yeah they were both part of the team that beat Liverpool a week ago , soon to be part of a team trying to beat us . Im pretty sure its not Isaacs choice to be training on his own. I have my opinion mate and i dont care what you think .
Nice !

I wont sleep at night now knowing you dont care what i think 🤣

Where would a new stadium be? What is the cost difference?

For one thing, he has a new England manager to impress. He won’t do that unless he has regular playing time. You’re putting up arguments, as of course is your right, that it seems the player himself doesn’t subscribe to.

Like you, I hope that Johnson coming aboard heralds a new era. But I said and thought that about Textor !

Am i the only one who is totally sick of the Guehi and Eze farce, IMO they need to take part of the blame, they both have agent company's, Eze's Situation is strait forward, get the release clause amount before the time runs out, if not your not going, Guehi needed to make his mind up earlier and say what he wants, not drag it out, both have a little respect for the club, although they are not blameless, so they can move forward and prepare for the 2025/6 season.
It's only what you have read in the media and click bait sites, just rolling a supposed story on. So, if your sick of them dont read them.
Guehi will go and Eze will stay, which I guess is Palace's preferable outcome. As a CB is easier to replace than a talent like Eze.

Lanzo we don’t know why not sorted. My gut is Liverpool unwilling to match our valuation and not willing to guarantee Marc will start. He wants to play in the World Cup so I expect happy to play out the last year

Football is funny business and anything could happen even him
Signing a new contract with low release clause - who knows !!!!!
This would be the best thing to do if it's first team minutes he wants.
Sign a one year extension with a 35m release clause, this benefits everyone, and I mean everyone.

Currently Guehi doesn't seem to be going anywhere. Much like the Newcastle offer in January, I suspect he doesn't want to live "oop norf".

I keep hearing from Spurs fans that think if they wait for the release clause to be over, they'll get him for cheaper, not sure what planet they're on. If they want a cheap deal they'll need to come up with £68m cash before the end of today.

I suspect both will be palace players when the window closes.

Clickbait is just that, offers are what counts.

I'm inclined to agree. Eze's going nowhere this window and Guehi seems happy to play the long game. And it's a bigger payday for him if he can leave on a free next summer. This may not suit the club but I think this is a situation where they're just going to have to suck it up and move on.

New England boss has already shown his true colours he doesn't need to impress him.

Textor when I look at it if he had more of a say/control would have done a lot more but he was unable to do so because of SP (The other 2 will always go with SP because they are the ones who has put him in that position it's the only reason he has any power because of those 2)

We wouldn't have Academy if it wasn't for Tex the others was doing nothing plus messing about for years just like this new stand.

Johnson will need to find a way to buy more of the club I can't see the point of sitting like Tex did you don't achieve anything (I think h will be smarter then Tex was play ball and then end up later on taking control)

That would depend on various different factors.

If you look at a generic breakdown on a build of a new stadium compared to the reported costs of just one stand you could have a new stadium for around 400-500m which would be around 45 thousand and be modern compared to spending 200m+ for one stand which adds what not even 10 thousand.

Take a look at the released details to do with stadiums for other clubs in Prem as well they put us to shame and these are not just the top clubs. (they may be like Palace a lot of talk no action but lets see)

Yep is bizarre strategy given history with palace and transfers

You have to factor in other factors such as infrastructure which we don’t pay for but have to be in place or government willing to pay
