Palace potentially denied entry to Europa League?

A couple of people have spoken about precedences - like Red Bull and Girona. However, remember the common law is the law of precedence. No European courts work like that. Certainly not sports arbitration.
No, but the Napoleonic Code runs deep in Europe. While this requires adherence to the letter, also enshrined is fairness before the law. CAS will not be happy to see rules applied unevenly and may look for any good reason to overturn a decision. This is if only to nudge UEFA to change that part of the rules that is bad. In our case, e.g., that arbitrary date.

It is a great irony that Marinatedkebabis could benefit from this. A man who has in the past had numerous accusations of match fixing, bribery, referee intimidation, blackmail and fraud. His Wiki page reads like the intro to a Panorama episode. You wonder how he even passed the PL fit and proper test? I don't think it's that much of a stretch to think a man like that could have bullied and coerced UEFA into kicking us out.
And this is probably what Parish was alluding to without quite saying it.

It would not surprise me if Marinakis has some serious dirt on UEFA’s top officials.

I suspect that UEFA are not 'Au Fait' with the internal workings at CPFC and the degree of actual influence exerted by the relevant parties. They have considered the fact that 'Eagle Football Holdings' had a 43% shareholding in the club as at 01 March 2025 and concluded that this represented a decisive influence.
Unless there is a signed agreement of voting rights at Palace by all shareholders, we dont stand a chance of winning an appeal via CAS. I doubt it makes any difference to UEFA the standing of shares when the competition kicks off, they have a rule that 1st March is the date they assess the situation. The club know this, that is why they havent launched an appeal yet.

Does anybody know why the date was pushed back to March 1st from June 1st?

Textor said on Talksport last week that he signed a document which basically laid out what voting rights he had plus the understanding that Parish had the final say in any decisions in the running of the club.

you do know we have gone the CAS bbc news Lbc news have reported this , or wasnt that what you want so you can bash the club , you have 10 days to appeal try keeping up

Nothing is certain, even in the courts. It really could go either way, but I am encouraged by Steve Parish's comments.
The CAS arbitration have form for common sense, so again I'm a bit more upbeat.
