Before or after telling everyone Glasner should be sacked immediately?Lanzo - I ask you the same question - if you are Steve Parish, you’ve read the email in January or February, what do you do next ?

It shows complete disregard. Can you imagine them contacting Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich or Man Utd in that way.True, but Parish also said he has never had any direct contact from UEFA whatsoever and he only found out about their contact when someone pointed out to him it was sent to their general website, info@CrystalPalace. If that is 100% true then it is a shocking way of contacting a PL owner and CEO.

I'm happy that the football world has largely condemned UEFA for this decision. Even Forest fans are at least 50/50 on whether this decision stinks or not and they are the ones benefiting from it. The more people that complain the more pressure UEFA come under. It is now the right time for the FA as well as the Premier League to speak on behalf of their champion/member and apply more pressure on our behalf.
Doing that could possibly result in a cave in.
Meanwhile, Palace need to get this to CAS and prepare for the biggest legal fight our club has ever fought. Its not just about the EL place, there's a principle at stake here. Roll over and accept UEFA's decision and not only do Palace look weak but the next smaller club that crosses their path will equally be bullied.
For what its worth, if it goes to CAS I believe we'll win. I dont really care what that does to any relationship we have with UEFA going forward. If we stay within the rules which we have always done what can they do?
I really hope beating them in court is a massively humiliating experience that the bureaucrats never forget

You do understand the email was sent to the general info email on the website and not to an address held by a human?Textor has no day to day running of the club, Parish does, Textor said if he had seen the email he, personally wouldn't put them in a blind trust, but if Parish had asked him he would have, believe that or not, but nobody read the email, as Parish and Textor have agreed, to see if an extension could be done, as Forest did, but we didn't read it, unbelievable.

I'd like to really see us carry on fighting UEFA on this s*** long afterwards, and organise a consortium of allies which are able to confront UEFA as a governing body, even if via the FA.
England
Maybe Parish should have read your 200 posts saying Glasner should be sacked immediately because you know best and then we probably wouldn’t have this issue. You obviously didn't see the Jordan/Textor interview, putting it in a blind trust would not have stopped him from selling, he used the analogy of it being like property, and would have done it if Parish had asked him, but nobody read the EMAIL

Not disputing the facts but if it was that cut and dried why didn't UEFA make the announcement on 17 May?I dont understand this question, you know what needs to happen, textor has to place his shares into a blind trust or if us and lyon qualify for the same European competition then one will have to drop out. We can all argue if the deadline is fair or not but thats the deadline, we didn't do it and now we're not in the Europa.
My thoughts exactly. For those saying its ok to be in conference instead, Europa league football is much more attractive to keeping players here and for attracting new ones. Conference not so much.
I believe the Euro courts will overrule, and this is probably UEFA's intent, so its not seen as them making the decision, but by then it could well be too late for Palace to prepare for the season, lose players they might not have, and fail to attract the ones they could have.
England
Maybe I’m doing the FA a disservice and they are actually involved, however I would expect them to be protesting in the strongest possible terms over what is an offhand dismissal of the importance of the most prominent club knock out trophy on the planet.I'd like to really see us carry on fighting UEFA on this s*** long afterwards, and organise a consortium of allies which are able to confront UEFA as a governing body, even if via the FA.

So we circle back, yet again , to whether it was reasonable to make a decision about placing those shares into a Blind Trust when all Palace have done at that point is qualified for the 4th maybe 5th round of the FA Cup ?I dont understand this question, you know what needs to happen, textor has to place his shares into a blind trust or if us and lyon qualify for the same European competition then one will have to drop out. But uefa will say how is that their problem. So we circle back, yet again , to whether it was reasonable to make a decision about placing those shares into a Blind Trust when all Palace have done at that point is qualified for the 4th maybe 5th round of the FA Cup ?

Scousers have been extremely effective for acting in numbers.Emailed her, I think we all just need to make a big fuss - it's what scousers do.
"I sincerely hope you will use your position to influence to restore Crystal Palace's position in the Europa League. This is an injustice as winners of the greatest domestic cup in the footballing world, and Palace fans are very upset by this double standard applied to our club versus other clubs.
Somebody joked "Is this what Kier Starmer's one in one out policy was for?" But it's not funny, this is corruption from the French FA authorities in favour of Lyon, with some very shady player deals struck between MCOs Nottingham Forest and Lyon in order to suddenly raise the funds to get Lyon reinstated, thus allowing Forest in too.
Please contact Steve Parish and the FA as soon as you can and use your Parliamentary powers to assist with most urgency."

I didn’t say it was a UEFA problem. But uefa will say how is that their problem.

Does this then not finally prove the point that the rule is not fit for purpose ??!!No real detail but they seem to be changing the rules. Again.

I think what Rikz was on about in regards to you post, was where you said about the 4th/5th round of the cup, not, about the 'fabled' blind trust. At least i think that's what he meant, if not i apologise. 😀I didn’t say it was a UEFA problem.
The point I’m making, which I’ve done on here all along, is that it wasn’t realistic to expect Textor to go down the Blind Trust route at that time.
Otherwise you may as well make it an annual event !
