Wolves vs Palace.....Match Thread

Point away is always good

Kamada gives the ball away most of the time
Sarr and Nketiah need to take their chances better

MOTM Trev
Fair call. He scored a really good goal, played well and had the drive and energy at the end to sweep up a few tricky positions. Also made the best defensive block of the night, shame it was for them 😀

It would have been nice to see a couple of the younger players get on. Surely one of them could have replaced Kamada & Nketiah. At any stage of the game.

I didn’t think Kamada was all that bad today. Yes he gave the ball away too much which he has to work on. However, I thought he formed a decent partnership with Hughes, positionally was much better and played some nice passes. His energy and effort was good as well. Looked much better than earlier games

Decent enough game ,yes we should have put that one to bed in the first half but we didn't. Wolves showed why they are where they are though with little quality in front of goal . We gave them their two goals .
They would probably say the same , take the draw and move on

This was so disappointing. We field an under-strength team yet had so many chances we almost lose it to a mediocre winless Wolves.

I give Nketia credit for effort but he is lightweight and gets barged off the ball too easily. A shame our best chances didn't go to Mateta. Kamada seems to think he is the bees knees but he loses the ball so often and his positional play is suspect. Can't believe that Hughes was so stupid as to get his fifth booking - just before he was being subbed. And Munoz is now one card short of a ban, too.

I thought our best were Guehi, Mitchell, Lacroix and Henderson.

It is easy to see why we struggle to score - without our provider (Wharton) and executioner (Eze) Mateta or Nketiah have few opportunities.

The manager subs were essentially defensive - reminiscent of Roy Hodgson.

It is essential that Wharton has his surgery now, it has been delayed far too long.

One other oddity - did we actually score from a corner?

You can't fault the team for effort, still trying to press in 80th minute ,third game in six days.
It's going to click soon, I can feel it.Keep the faith

He was better than he has been but didn't do anything one of the youngsters couldn't have done. I really don't like to criticise him because I don't like slagging off our players or OG's choices and selection.

Kamada is a complete waste of space. Loses the ball so easily but thinks he's a tricky player. Complete s*ite. So off the pace and constantly gives the ball away or gets turned. Sarr tries but finishing is woeful and the less said about that £30M piece of crap Nketieh the better. Says it all that two defenders had to give us the point today. But seriously, I could go on all night about how bad OG's love child is.

Utter nonsense - Kamada had a fantastic first half and second half was decent. Most of our players can be blamed for giving the ball away.

On the subs I think OG put on the players he had. I am sure he’d have loved a quality attacking option to put on but the squad is thin and he didn’t have it. In the last few minutes away from home I can entirely understand why he is brining on players with lots of Premier League experience.

the Royal British Legion is always friendly and good beer.......a cover charge of 2 quid and some interesting cheese rolls available at the bar.

you said you were Elderly, you will feel young with all the dinosaurs in there

Beware - they let far too many people in and it’s far too squashed. Can hardly get to the bar. I would recommend the conservative club near clocktower but you might need membership.

Would have took a point before KO
Chances created were a positive.
We sink 2 by HT and we win.
That wasn’t a bottom half performance on those chances so I’m all in we will climb the table and finish top ten.
Wolves will be thankful of that point.
