Woke is alive and well

As one of the most deprived places in the UK there are plenty who struggle here. They seem to survive though. The environment helps.

I don’t know the last time you were here but Cornwall is witnessing change too. As it is bound to.
Struggle on without accepting the inevitability of controlled immigration.
I haven't been to Cornwall for about 30 years and after the overt racism I saw on more than occasion I won't be going back. Scenery and seasides exist outside Cornwall.

I have have been here since day1.

The only difference between Blair and any other political leader faced with the facts and the inevitable consequences of them was he did his best to be honest about them.

What his, and every subsequent government, failed to do is put sufficient emphasis onto positive efforts of integration. Being straightforward with every new arrival that they must learn to accept and respect British culture and ensuring any and all faith based behaviour is kept entirely private is essential.
Blair did his best to be honest? Really?

Laughable that you think being ‘straightforward with every new arrival that they must learn to accept and respect British culture and ensuring any and all faith based behaviour is kept entirely private is essential’ will work with the Islam crowd. And what of the 2nd and 3rd generation Pakistani Muslims in those northern towns? More rubbish coming…

are they quite strong ? those Meds the doctor prescribed for you ?

'an inevitability'........... Funny how Iceland, Poland, Hungary, Romania, and lots of other places are trundling along nicely. The bins get collected every week and they do not have homeless tents littering their towns ?
Are they really, or are you being spoon fed political bs? As well as being in denial of reality. All those places face similar problems and will need to adopt similar solutions, even if progress to them isn’t identical.

Taking Hungary, and the right’s poster boy Orban, as an example perhaps this might change your perspective a little:-

Then look at Poland which is undergoing rapid change:-

Completely untrue.

We already see a lot of controlled immigration here, both in the farming and fishing industries and particularly in healthcare. It seems to be showing a substantial increase.

You must have been very unlucky to have witnessed what you did. I wasn’t here 30 years ago so cannot speak for attitudes then but what exists today is generally welcoming and accepting of incomers. Unfortunately you can find racists everywhere though.

Scenery and countryside do exist everywhere. There is though a lot of it here which is outstandingly beautiful and readily accessible. Feasts for my eyes exist within several short walks from my home. One from my own windows.

The demographics argue differently and the reception I saw my friend receive was quite unpleasant, particularly as his daughter was two years old at the time so unlikely to present much of a threat.
There may be some wonderful scenery but that's hardly unique - Scotland has loads but I'm a city boy and prefer concrete under my feet. Once I've looked at the view I want something to do and walking across fields full of sheep isn't it.

Yes, there has been a discourse in some right wing circles that the establishment will, 'put the woke away' due to negative reactions both socially and economically to its promotion within institutions and industries.

However, I've never agreed with this idea in any real sense as if that were serious then laws and rules would actually require changing both legally and within the corporate world and we just aren't seeing that on any major footing. DEI is in the process of gutting institutions already and power positions are already occupied by disastrous non merit based appointments.

Indeed, now this 20 percent Labour government are in power we are going to see their activists emboldened within our institutions and companies to push ever forwards with they pseudo race gay communism.

So as much as many of us would like far from being near the end of this we are only just past the beginning...

Many of us older to remember can recall all these people being called radicals and loonies very frequently in the modern media but now they practically run large parts of it. Just as the Tories lied to its voting base over immigration in pretty much every manifesto post WW2 and in reality they increased said immigration the Tories have done the same with 'woke'. When they could have done something all we had was inaction within our universities to stop this mind rot and since the turn of the century the Tories have done more to promote 'Woke' than ever......Most of what we see was allowed and made law by the Tories saying one thing and doing another.

The centralist conservativism approach of trying to get left wing people to like them......Political cuckoldry.

All we had was talk and dishonesty..which has been mainstream Conservativism since Thatcher (who was a mixed bag herself...no pun intended).
Oh dear.

So bitter, so deranged. I just have to laugh.

When the centre/right/common sense finally wrestle power from the satanists and Commies that currently run the country, the real fight will be to rebalance the woke institutions who absolutely hate everything about this country & its native Anglo Saxon population.
Again. Haha. Bitter, deranged. Where are you living in your heads, you people?

Blimey!

Hungary are contemplating a novel solution

It's just crazy tthat many people in the UK are victims of the propaganda and want to re-join the EU
I think its called Stockholm syndrome. When an abused person forms some kind of an emotional bond - with their abuser.
There are probably still some local men, living in this village, who think the EU is their friend. Local Men. Soon to be outnumbered 3 to 1. Outnumbered by newcomer men.

By your own admission this was at least 30 years ago. You were just unlucky. I have had bad experiences myself in both Wales and Scotland, but that doesn’t stop me revisiting them.

If you prefer cities that’s your choice. Not mine though. I prefer the tranquility of the natural world.

It’s hardly novel is it?

It’s imitating what Texas are doing with their illegals and typical of a populist like Orban. Headline grabbing stunts designed for show whilst quietly admitting those who they need.

Different stokes but I'm not going back to somewhere which was so unwelcoming when there are thousands of other places to go.
