He beat Munoz to set up their goal. But there's a lot of teams interested in him, none of them in Europe though100% thought he was excellent against us in both games for Saints. Really hope we make this happen.
We bought a 21 year old last year, based on one good season in the third tier in Scotland. That worked out OK.If we were linked with signing someone who is nearly 22 and whose total professional career is one good season in League Two, I'm pretty sure most fans would be asking what on earth we're doing and certainly no one would be expecting the player to come in make an impact in the PL.
But because we already own him, everyone seems to think that is what will happen? I don't get it.
Are you talking about Devenny..? He was 19 when we signed him.We bought a 21 year old last year, based on one good season in the third tier in Scotland. That worked out OK.
Sometimes the opportunity gets the result. I've not seen enough of Imray to have an opinion myself.
I have. I went to about a dozen Bromley games last season. We bought a 21 year old last year, based on one good season in the third tier in Scotland. That worked out OK.

There seems to be general consensus that we need another LWB.
I note that the other day Devenny won MOM playing for Northern Ireland in that role and it made me pause for thought.
He's naturally left footed, has good delivery and gets up and down the field.
He's unlikely to be able to offer Mitchell's defensive skillset, but I could see him as an option in games where we are not on the defensive.
I don't think that's his natural position but it sounds like he's the new Jeffrey Schlupp in that he can play in multiple positions in a pinch.I'm sure I heard Glasner or one of the coaches speculating about Devenny at LWB previously - I just can't recall when/where I saw it.
Agree he's got the profile to make it work - good athlete, nice left foot, seems to read the game well and not afraid to make a tackle.
Certainly worth exploring.
It's not at all, but there are very few natural wing backs, and it's not uncommon for midfielders and even wingers to find homes in those roles.I don't think that's his natural position but it sounds like he's the new Jeffrey Schlupp in that he can play in multiple positions in a pinch.
Bet he can't pinch as many inches as Jeff. Another sentence that looks wrong written down.I don't think that's his natural position but it sounds like he's the new Jeffrey Schlupp in that he can play in multiple positions in a pinch.
