West Ham Match Thread

Great week with 2 clean sheet away wins. Commentators saying 1 defeat in 5 but looking further back think it is in 11. Olly's magic roll neck does it again.Well done everybody involved. COYP !!

It's another game where the front 3 combined for a goal, Mateta's first, and I expect Glasner to highlight this in the press conference as he's a details man.
For his system to work effectively he really needs this sort of interplay from the front 3 on a more regular basis.
If Mateta receives the ball in the right positions he will score.

Fantastic result for the boys! Mateta got some stick early on in the season(At least from my perspective) but he is clearly our best player and thankful that he is here. Hughes also has turned it around, hopefully he continues to do so.

Glasner finally seems to be getting us to play the way he wants and I am eager to see how further up the table we can climb.

Enjoy your weekend gents!

I agree with comments that said “well done Palace and particularly Mateta” but JPM must really work on his penalties. He’s had a few where you think “crikey that was lucky to go in”. If he doesn’t improve it will slap us on the ar*e next time he steps up as he seems to hit it right in the ‘save’ area.

Nketia. I believe he can play a tune for us. Im sure Glasner believes it. Nketia has got to believe it.
There are signs in his play. He is desperately inconsistent so far in his career, but there is something there.
If he really works hard with our coaches maybe they can get him up there.
Look at Mateta since Glasner and his team came. Real improvement.
They also presumably decided Edouard was past help.
So the ball is in Nketia court. Keep at it Eddie.
