West Ham Match Thread

Everton have always been pretty good at it too. In fact I tend to think of Everton and West Ham as being similar type wannabe clubs.
Spurs too. Look at how much they’ve spent over the last two seasons to be looking nervously over their shoulder at the relegation places

Yes.
  • 3 games in 6 days
  • 3 wins
  • 3 clean sheets
  • 3 places up the table
oh and into the next round of the cup.

What's not to like (apart from needing thqt South Coast team to beat ManUre for us to stay in 12th.
And our first new signing of the window!

Ollie said he’d promised them an extra day off if they managed 3 wins. Good at motivating the team with little things like that.

On Nketiah, we can’t doubt his effort. I was at the Leicester game where he ran his socks off when he came on. Same yesterday. He’ll come right. He just needs to practice his composure and placement of shots and not just hit it in the general direction. Kluivert’s performance yesterday for Bournemouth was a master-class in a striker glancing up and picking his spot. What a player he is.
Lol, great suggestion. Please email that into the club, as he's obviously been practicing not placing his shots thus far

That’s a brilliant football name. My favourite ever is Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink. Sounded like a fast show character
The Dutch have great names.I remember Vennegoor of Hesselink at Celtic. They actually managed to get his name on his shirt! My personal favourite is Ricky van Wolfswinkel.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Paul Dickov.
Signed by Dave Bassett for his 1st spell at Leicester.
He was a pest for defenders with his harrowing and chasing ,his workrate character and attitude were never in doubt.
He did receive a 'Super-sub' tag for scoring after coming on from the bench but he was not a prolific scorer during the entirety of his career.
