Explains the cowardly left wing media all over.
I recall that report on terrorism being published. The big talking point being the growth of extreme right wing terrorism and the amount of time the security forces now spend on it. Of course international Islamist groups continue to dominate but progress has been made to disrupt them and their activities. When just 9 attacks in 5 years happened, resulting in 6 deaths, yet 39 were stopped, the security forces are doing a good job. (The Manchester arena bombing preceded the period of the report).A government ‘Contest’ Report of 2023 states that 67% of terrorist attacks since 2018 were Islamist. 75% of MI5’s caseload is related to Islamist terrorism. 64% of those in custody for terrorist related offences are Muslims.
Christians are the most persecuted religion in the world – especially in Islamic countries. Numerous murderous attacks on them are hardly reported in the media while the mildest supposed insult to Islam is.
Child-rape gangs composed of overwhelmingly Muslim rapists operated in Rochdale, Rotherham, Oxford, Telford, Leeds, Birmingham, Norwich, Burnley, High Wycombe, Leicester, Dewsbury, Middlesbrough, Peterborough, Bristol, Halifax, Newcastle, Huddersfield, Hull, and other places. In Telford around 1,000 girls, some as young as 11 were systematically abused by followers of Mohammed, 1,500 in Rotherham.
Meanwhile people with a similar outlook to yourself sought to cover it up, make vague excuses for it. Of course such despicable evasion of the truth is still attempted by people like you – who the hell do you think you are fooling.
How do you propose this "education" should take place? Evening classes for 4 million people could be a challenge.I recall that report on terrorism being published. Terrorism is an abomination whoever is behind it, but it exists. Never forget the IRA were terrorists. Some of them still are, but they are being contained.
That Christians are the most persecuted religious group in the world could be true, but it depends on who is doing the reporting. For sure if it is Islam is not far behind. Nor are the non religious, like me. (Especially in the USA). None of it is acceptable. All of it is ridiculous. The sooner religious belief becomes a part of history the better. It is the primary cause of a lot of misery.
You repeating the well known facts about the grooming gangs adds nothing to any efforts to improve the situation and thus the outcomes. We don’t need to be continually told the same thing. We need arrests and convictions. Then we need to change behaviour, either through the certainty of arrest and conviction or changing mindsets through education. To do that you need the overwhelming majority of the law abiding members of the ethnic communities on your side and not being made to feel persecuted themselves by all being tainted by the acts of criminals. We are making progress, too slowly for sure, but it’s happening. Nobody has ever excused this behaviour. That’s just a slur on people who actually had to find ways through some very difficult situations, often with inadequate resources and training. I make no excuses for anyone who failed to do their duty, but I do defend those who did, only to find it didn’t work, yet get condemned for that.
Success in most endeavours only arrives after a series of failures. The secret is never to stop learning, improving or trying.

I am perfectly comfortable talking to Muslim clerics and have done so several times. If you show respect then they listen. We don’t agree of course but that doesn’t preclude disagreeing without rancour and hopefully I gave them something to think about. It doesn’t always happen. I have engaged with Muslims on the internet for whom there is no other belief than their own and who express great surprise that others cannot see that. That though is the result of indoctrination and it’s that chain which must be broken. Thanks for providing proof for the last paragraph of my post.
By the way, will you be writing to your local Muslim 'community' leaders to tell them that their religion is "ridiculous" and "the sooner religious belief becomes a part of history the better" and that "It is the primary cause of a lot of misery"?
Does anyone one else want to tell him? 🤣I am perfectly comfortable talking to Muslim clerics and have done so several times. If you show respect then they listen. Removing faith schools isn't going to happen.Of course not.
For the children ensuring everyone gets taught the national curriculum is essential and is one of the primary reasons I want the involvement of all religious institutions and influence removed from schools.
For adults it’s delivered more subtly, via local cultural and community initiatives for which the engagement of local leaders is essential.
This though is one of the downsides of the internet age. In the past new arrivals had little choice other than to gradually become immersed in our culture. It was all around them. Of course they kept up their own traditions too but blended them with their adopted one. These days people can stream tv and ratdio from their country of origin, chat with old friends at will, and live almost completely isolated from the rest of us, other than when they work or shop. We need to find ways to break into that circle. Local Asian radio and tv is now available, which is a response to that need.
Surely there is some degree of mixing when they are serving sentences for child-rape and terrorism in our vibrant and diverse prisons?Of course not.

Perhaps, as a peace offering, you could take a nice image of the Prophet Muhammad along when you see them to tell them that Allah does not exist and that their religion is ridiculous etcI am perfectly comfortable talking to Muslim clerics and have done so several times. I know what exists now! I argue for change. Change that would be vigorously resisted, would need careful explanation but could ultimately bring significant improvements.Removing faith schools isn't going to happen.
The First Protocol of the Human Rights Act (Article 2) states that the state must respect the right of parents to ensure their children's education and teaching in accordance with their own religious and philosophical convictions.
The UK's legal system respects religious freedom, and allowing faith schools to operate is seen as a way of upholding this right.
Parents have the right to choose the type of education they want their children to receive, and faith schools provide an alternative to secular schools.
Some argue that faith schools contribute to community cohesion by fostering a sense of identity and belonging among students from similar religious backgrounds.
Faith schools have some legal protections in place, such as the ability to prioritize admissions for children of their own faith and the ability to open outside of competition with other proposals.
As for the rest of it; that's not going to happen either.
I never say that!Perhaps, as a peace offering, you could take a nice image of the Prophet Muhammad along when you see them to tell them that Allah does not exist and that their religion is ridiculous etc
You might start by explaining the values that unite a few supporters of Crystal Palace before tackling this one.I know what exists now! I argue for change. Change that would be vigorously resisted, would need careful explanation but could ultimately bring significant improvements.
Repealing Acts of Parliament isn’t so unusual. When the dangers are great and the majority are non believers then I can imagine it becoming a popular manifesto promise. It just needs to be explained. It wouldn’t expect people to stop believing or educating their children in their beliefs. It would simply ensure that every child be taught the values that unite us. The values held by the majority being taught together. It’s not only parents who have rights. We all do. One of them being that all children are taught the values of their country. They can be taught region at home or in places of worship. Then they are free to decide for themselves.
How does the Iman react when you tell him that his religion is the consequence of historical ignorance?I never say that!
I argue that all religion is the consequence of historical ignorance. Ways we used to explain the mysteries of life which have subsequently, gradually, been explained by science. Which is a continuous never ending process but one which is logical, whilst religion isn’t.
Unquestionably!He's just an extremist.
You hate the weath disparity so musk with billions fills that one.
Comparing your position because you arnt a millionaire is a bit of a swerve.
Filled both above points with your b) really.
It’s what you are trading that’s the point.
Double standards fit with the lefts opinions. Ask one with a refugees welcome banner to accommodate one and that’s sorted then!
I hate wealth inequality, correct. It doesn't mean I hate rich people as individuals - I hate the system that allows them to exist. But them personally? It's not their fault the game is rigged.
Engage your brain and stop reeling off little soundbites.
That doesn't require an act of Parliament, a change of educational policy and convincing millions of religious adherents to change their mindset? No, you have no answer.
