Bad planning by other countries then and assumptions the USA gravy train would keep on chugging I guess !

There was certainly a well founded belief that none of the western countries, bound together by common standards, would abandon those standards and start to behave in the despotic way the Trump administration is doing. Trust in your partners ought not be an assumption. It ought to be a certainty. It will take a very long time for that trust to be reestablished. Who will suffer the most? I think it will inevitably be the USA.

But when it dropped in a day a conclusion was made. Like I said. Standards and the left !

The conclusion was correct! A 6% sell off in a day is a big deal. A speculative bounce was always likely as some came back in on Musk’s announcement. What though is the direction?
